Supergoop! Skin Soothing Mineral Sunscreen SPF 40, 2.4 Fl Oz

This is a fantastic product based on the results I see after using it for about a year: 1) actually protects the skin from sun damage, 2) good coverage yet lightweight, 3) blends in wonderfully and looks great on--even on top of some of my greasier serums, moisturizers, etc., 4) there's a substantive amount of olive polyphenols to make it an effective moisturizer, you can feel the difference compared with other sunscreens

My friend bought this item for her combo skin and absolutely love it. She get really oily in the T zone within 2 hours of washing her face and dryness on her cheeks. On top of that, she has sensitive, acne-prone skin. All these skin problem makes finding the perfect sunscreen difficult. For years, she's tried numerous kinds of sunscreen from cheap Korean brand to dermalogica to shiseido but none of them kept her oil at bay. It's even worst when she applies makeup. The foundation would look like its hasn't been applied. Oily within the first hour and gets worst throughout the day. She was introduced to a sample of supergoop from sephora. It worked miracles! Oily in 6 hours without makeup and 5 hours with makeup. The oil is not as intense either and doesn't feel as sticky on the skin. It still looked like she has makeup on at the end of the day. Supergoop doesn't oxidize and kept the skin looking fresh all day. This is the perfect sunscreen for gals with sensitive, acne-prone skin. Definitely would recommend it to anyone!

Thank you to all prior 5 star reviewers, I join your ranks. This is fabulous protection for my very sensitive skin. What a relief not to have stinging, and to feel comfortable with sunscreen on. I've tried all the readily available brands and either had to endure the sting, the feeling of suffocation, or feel the zits happening from the second I put it on. This is soothing, breathes, and actually moisturized my face and made it feel great. What a delight. Yes, I wish the price was about half, or at least 3/4 of the going price, but obviously I'm going to suck it up and buy enough to last the whole summer :)

i like it, although is cremier than expected. I did not get an allergic reaction at least so far.It does not smell as strong as a neutrogena spf. Its easy to take off at night.

This was kind of my fault for not reading the ingredients carefully enough before buying, but also this was very misleading...it says it is a "mineral" sunscreen, but the two active ingredients are NOT Zinc and Titanium like one would expect (the usual pair), but Zinc and Octinoxate. I was specifically looking for a MINERAL sunscreen to avoid potentially toxic ingredients...like Octinoxate. When I saw Zinc on the ingredients I think my brain just filled in "Titanium" as the second. Oops...but still, it is VERY misleading to call this mineral sunscreen when only one of two active ingredients is mineral! :(

This did block the sun but clogged my pores and caused me to breakout. It also left a lot of residue. My friends tried it at well and agreed. I would not use it again.

I’ve tried 4-5 different mineral sunscreens and each one was a dud. Either too thick, too white, or too greasy. This is hands down my holy grail sunscreen. It is so lightweight and moisturizing but not greasy. No white cast and super easy to blend in. It doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin. I love it!

I had a bad reaction to this product. About 5-10 minutes after application on my face, I had a burning, tingly sensation. I washed the product off as much as I could but my face is still quite red although no more burning sensation. I like other Supergoop products but definitely not this one! Not sure what ingredient caused this reaction on my skin but be careful and use a small amount on a small area to determine/test if you will have a reaction.P.S. Two days later, skin is back to normal and all redness is gone.
