Excellent book on ministering healing
Bill Johnson and Randy Clark-two ministers that flow powerfully in signs, healings, and wonders, yet two very different angles by which the Lord began to work in their lives. The common thread woven within both lives are also what will advance the kingdom working through us today- hunger- pure, simple hunger for more of God. Many Christians were taught not to believe the sign gifts are for today. Randy Clark will lay a foundation and show the biblical bases of healing. His word study revealed that healings, miracles, signs, and wonders were the number one way God received glory. Randy Clark expounds on reasons- societal, theological, and church factors- as to why believers today discount healing and miracles. Bill Johnson believes prayer is the initial part of our assignment in co- laboring with the Lord. It is where the heart of God is with the heart of man and the purposes of God are released into the earth. The authors believe praying in the Spirit is important to building one's faith. Good bible study, impartation, radical obedience including risk, and correctly stewarding what God gives us will aid us in moving in the miraculous. Transformation of the world around us is the expected result of carrying His presence. True transformation can occur in regions where strongholds are present by testifying of God's redemptive work, coupled with intercessory prayer. You will learn the soul/body connection and why deep and complete confession is an essential ingredient of a healthy lifestyle. Dealing with psychosomatic roots of illness is a significant aspect of ministering healing. Learn how words of knowledge operate in the body of Christ and the five step prayer model that will carefully walk you through steps when ministering to others to get to the root of the problem and pray effectively. This is an excellent resource and comes from the heart of two men that have learned how to minister effectively and have personally seen thousands of miracles take place within congregations, crusades, and in the marketplace.

Read this NOW!
THE most practical and informative teaching on praying to effect healing I have ever read BY FAR! The authors answer so many questions, and unveil what is a mystery of healing to so many. Peppered with scripture to back their practices, and example after example of both successful and some unsuccessful prayer experiences, both extremely instructive. Though emphasis is on praying for others, what is learned here about root causes of illnesses and things that can block healing and how they have successfully dealt with them can definitely be applied to healing self. It is also a massive faith-builder! I read this for free as an Unlimited Kindle Prime book but am absolutely buying it to keep for reference. Absolutely must, must, must read!

This is the best book available today on Healing
I have read many books on healing and on healing evangelists. I have read and studied up on Wigglesworth, Lake, all the greats from the Voice of Healing era (summarized very well in "God's General"), John Wimber, a whole slew of books and people from Bethel Church (Bill Johnson's church) and even listened to Randy Clark teach for 7+ hours on Healing and Impartation. But I have to say out of literally thousands of pages and hundreds of hours of videos and audio on the subject, this book truly is the ESSENTIAL book on the subject. Pastors Randy and Bill have managed to summarize the entire area of healing in one fairly-short and very easy to read book. They succinctly summarize the theology behind it (and where the theology had digressed over the years). They clearly explain how and why God heals today, and they even teach very honestly and plainly on how to receive words of knowledge (one way God speaks to His children today). This book is priceless. And I will personally recommend it to anyone and everyone as the BEST book available today on the subject of Healing. Save yourself lots of hunting and searching for the nuts and bolts of healing, and check out this gem.

Great Book on Divine Healing
For those who have been studying divine healing in the name of Jesus Christ this book is a great asset to understanding how the healing message has developed in these two authors. Their healing style reflects the Vineyard/Toronto approach more than the John G. Lake/Curry Blake or other approaches. I suspect it is a snapshot of where they were at the time of this writing, but will grow even more as we get closer to our model, Jesus, in ministering healing. The format is different chapters by the two authors so you get a slightly different flavor on the topics. Both have been involved in the healing ministry and in training others for healing so the content appears to be directed at what these two experienced workers have learned it takes to get Christians activated in performing this key ministry of Jesus. The book uses much testimony on both how each got started in the divine healing ministry, and how they are now practicing it with individuals to large crusades and groups. The explanation on how critical divine healing is to the Gospel is excellent. They describe how ministers operate in situations with individuals, groups, meetings and crusades. I was glad to see reference to prayer sessions that ran from instant (1-5 minutes) to 20 minutes to 5 hours. The teaching on how to use the word of knowledge with healing is very good.

Essential Guide to Healing – Randy Clark and Bill Johnson This book is about healing and the miracles. Randy and Bill are one of the must important names When the headline is healings. After more them 25 year of minister, they are charing with us five steps for you pray for someone who wants to be healed. Ask the person, What would you like to me pray for? Let the person anser, and asking they for more information about the reason that they want o receive the prayer. Ask about When did it started, or When did it hapen? And let the person tell you their history. During the time that the person is telling you her history, asking to the Holly Spirit to show you, to give you words of knoledge, and directions about how should you pray. After that, let’s see whays is the God’s willing for that day, maybe you are gona see a miracle happen in front of your eyes, if nothing visiable heppen, don’t let this make your faith became week, because God has his own willing for eatch person and eactch moment. Make sure that you are gonna show the Jesus’ love for them and don’t Forget to Grow up the atmosphere of testemonys, because these atmosphere is essential to build faith in the unbilivers. Other Thing really important is: tell the person, who you prayer for to test the miracle, what I mean is, tell them to do what they were incapable to do, for exemplo, if they could not Walk, ask them to try to Walk, if they were not capable to talk, ask them to try to talk and see whats God’s want to do. In resum everything in this book is about, learning about God, your willing, about the love and the power on the name of Jesus. And you? What are you waiting for? Leonardo Freitas - @srleofreitas

Randy Clark and Bill Johnson have both had notable healing ministries for many years now, and they both run schools to teach other believers to do the same. They are each more than qualified to write this book on their own, and together they have produced what I believe will become a classic. There are many Christian books on healing, but this one is outstanding. The book is full of wonderful stories. It starts with the personal testimonies of Randy and Bill where they explain how they came to believe that healing is for today. These open and honest accounts set the tone for the rest of the book. Part 2 deals with the theology of healing. Randy first discusses the biblical context for healing, and then covers the theological objections that are often raised. He describes how the Lord's power should go with proclaiming the gospel, and that healing is for all believers. A chapter follows on factors that have contributed to a demise in faith for healing. Included here is a wonderful story of a traditional Baptist church in Brazil which went from a size of 300 when Randy first visited, to a main congregation of 9,000 plus 5,000 in satellite churches within a few years. Bill then takes up the reigns with chapters on `Healing and the Kingdom' and `Healing and the Authority of the Believer'. He discusses the importance of the Kingdom of God where there is no sickness, the authority believers have in Christ and the way this has led to seeing miracles in public places. Part 3 covers the practice of healing. Bill helpfully lists the things he has done to see an increase in healing by `Creating a Faith Culture', and he emphasises the power of sharing testimonies and the rich benefits he has found from doing this. Then there is a chapter on `Healing and a Prosperous Soul' which discusses the connection between the mind and physical sickness. The final two chapters are written by Randy. There is a wonderful chapter on `Words of Knowledge for Healing', a practical guide on how to receive words, how to give words, and their power. I found this very helpful. The last chapter explains how to pray for healing, and the importance of hearing and obeying the voice of the Spirit. Randy describes a five-step model based on the way Jesus prayed for healing, a very useful framework particularly for those new to praying for healing. After Randy learned it from John Wimber he began to see many more people healed. In summary, this is a wonderful book and I think every Christian would benefit from reading it. Buy it, read it, and put it into practice. If you are hungry for more this book could help change your life!
