This book is wonderful. The plot and characters are awesome. Perfect book for young adults (16 to 17 yrs). It was delivered timely and in perfect condition as well. Do buy it.

Short Plot: 17-year-old Emma is determined to avenge the deaths of her parents who were murdered during the Dark War by an anonymous killer. On the other hand, Emma’s parabatai Julian Blackthorn struggles between surreptitiously running the Institute and parenting his younger brothers and sisters. In the midst of finding the source of the strange killings happening in LA, Emma and Julian realize that what they feel for each other is more than friendship. Written in classic Cassie style – the series is filled with forbidden love and heartbreak. Okay, warning! There are a lottt of characters. Its difficult at first to remember who is who, but on the plus side, you’ll relate to at least one of them. Emma is awesome. She’s got this sarcastic-badass-queen vibes that’ll make you love her instantly. She’s so much better than Clary. If it comes down to Tessa, Cordelia and Emma – its going to be a hard choice. All three of them are incredible in their own way. Julian though is not a MC that ‘everyone’ likes. He’s very complicated and shut out. So, it’s hard to relate to him on every level. He’ll burn down the whole world without a second thought if it comes to saving his family. I love him. IMO he’s probably the hottest MC in all of Cassie’s books. (Jace is hot but Julian tops) The plot is good, but it becomes a bit draggy as we go on. Queen of Air and Darkness (book3) literally has no plot for the first half of the book. But Cassie has given us a very detailed idea into the hearts of all the characters. You’ll fall in love with all of the Blackthorns, Kit, Cristina, Kieran and a lot of other characters that aren’t Julian and Emma. The cliffhangers at the end of each book will make you run and grab the next one within seconds. Cassie is just brilliant that way. She knows what she’s doing. I’m dying to get my hands on THE WICKED POWERS. Thank the angels that Cassie blessed us with SECRETS OF BLACKTHORN HALL. Overall, this is a MUST-READ series. Like, don’t even wait. Read it NOW.

Bücher sind Geschmackssache. Ich finde diese Reihe persönlich fast noch besser als The Mortal Instruments. 20€ für drei Bücher.. Nichts zu meckern. Bei der merkwürdigen deutschen Buchpreispolitik greife ich lieber auf die englischen Ausgaben zurück.

كان فيه ضربة خفيفة في احد اطراف الصندوق، لكن كتاب واحد اللي تأثر شوي ماكان شي كبير لكن لازال كنت اتمنى توصل في حالة مثالية. الباقي كله ممتاز وصلت بسرعة كبيرة وطلعت نفس الأغلفة اللي كنت ابغاها.
