I have always had cat allergies to the point where I could only stay at friends houses who own cats for 1-2 hours before having to leave due to not being able to breath or getting puffy eyes. I decided to make a dumb decision and foster a cat and had some issues with my allergies, but my cat was such a perfect fit that i couldn't not make her part of my family. So in conjunction with an air purifier (somewhat helps) and Purina Live Clear I am able to live with my cat completely allergy free. I have been feeding my cat for about a year on this food with no issues, she seems to enjoy it and they have many other options now (Ex. different flavors and formulations). My cat isn't very active so i will be switching her from the high protein to the weight loss formula on my next order. Surprisingly this food is not expensive at all either. I subscribe to save some money and purchase the largest bag that has lasted me a half year using an automatic feeder. It seems to cost me about $10 per month. I hope they can add some wet food options in the future. Overall, this actually works well and I never thought I would be able to own a cat. My cat's hair gets everywhere and she will occasionally lay on me or my face and I still have no issues at all.

We’ve been using this cat food for 2-3 years now. I can’t find it locally. I love it. I adopted a stray over 10 years ago even though I’ve always had really bad cat allergies. I’ve heard that tabby cats, etc are more irritable for people with cat allergies, and My cat is black and probably affects me the least unless I stick my face in his fur or heaven forbid get any cat saliva on my face. With this food, I can rub my face all in his fur and no sneezing, itchy eyes, or anything…. Seriously!! Not sure how it’s possible but it really works! It is a bit pricey but I couldn’t live without it!

Bought this for my dad's visit, who is allergic. I can't be sure if due to this food, but my dad didn't complain majorly about the cats during his visit. I did feed this for a month before he arrived. A bit pricey, but worth a try if someone in the family is allergic to cats. The cats liked it too so it must not taste horrible. We were already feeding Pro Plan, so it wasn't a big change.

I have a granddaughter who is very allergic to cats and she was coming to visit this summer. I read about this cat food and decided to give it a try. According to the internet the cats have to be on this food for at least 3 weeks for it to be totally effective and that's what I did. The cat really liked the food and it did seem to help with my granddaughters allergies. I should also mention that she takes allergy medication while she's here. In the past she has had problems with her allergies within a few days of being here and was sick by the time she left. This time she had very little reactions to the cat and was able to enjoy the full week she was here

My cat loves the salmon flavor of Purina Liveclear cat food. I’ve fed it to her since she was a kitten five years ago. I am allergic to cats, and this food allows me to snuggle with my cat without sneezing my head off. It is a wonderful invention for cat lovers who are allergic.

Cats didn’t get sick when changing foods. My boyfriend (cat allergy) has noticed a difference. They’ve been on it for almost 4 months and he noticed around 1 month in. 4 stars because it’s expensive but I understand why. 2 shorthairs and 1 longhair

Works like magic. This is my second time purchasing this food, first time it was with chicken and second time was with the salmon. My cat loves it and doesn’t generally smell too bad it’s faint and subtle (just clean your hands when dealing with it). The food is small and my cat takes their time to eat. At first it was a bit of a transition to get them to eat the food coming from wet food, but after following the instructions I got to my cat to transition to fully the dry food they look and feel healthy eating the food. It’s good for the cats and GOOD for people who love cats and are allergic. I personally don’t have allergies but I’m family does, and before getting this they all had really bad allergies and they didn’t interact with the cat at all but after they spend a lot of time with the cat. Genuinely a great product.

Having a cat was not on my bingo card. I am allergic. The cat distribution system had other plans. Someone told me about this and it has been a game changer. It really does what it says. Occasionally I will notice a little bit of watery eyes, and that could be a different allergy, but I can snuggle nose to nose with my cat and no issues. It trust the quality of Purina ProPlan And he loves the taste. Big win iny book.

Cat food actually has diminished sensitivity for visiting family members that have allergies to cat dander and my kitty likes the taste. Only negative is the cost.

I've had the same dry food for years, but decided to change it given the claims that this helps with allergies. Unproven on the allergy reduction front, but 100% attest that my cat loves this!

My cat absolutely loves this food and always finishes her bowl. The ingredients seem good quality, and it hasn’t caused any stomach issues. Her coat looks healthier, and she has more energy since switching. Definitely a great choice for picky eaters

My boyfriend is allergic to cats, so when I moved in with him, I started looking for ways to make the transition easier for him. That’s when I found this food. It’s now been over a year and a half, and my cat has gone through three bags—one bag lasts her about six months—and she absolutely loves it. It’s definitely a premium food, but the quality is amazing. Her fur has never looked better, and she looks so healthy overall. She’s usually very picky with food, but she never gets tired of this one. I also switch between the chicken and salmon formulas with each order. Most importantly, my boyfriend’s allergies have significantly decreased. After about a month, he already noticed a difference, and now he’s not even a little allergic to her anymore. I honestly couldn’t be happier with this product.
