The best packing solution so far- I use them all the time, not just for trips
I love these packing pods! One is in constant use as a project bag for my crochet. The medium was just right for my clothes when I had an overnight trip recently. and the large was put to use carrying zip lock bags of cookies I was taking to friends. They fit nicely in my Osprey porter- my go-to travel bag. I was easily able to hang my clothes bag on the clothes hooks in the guest room. And I love the extra zip pocket on the strap. I have other good packing cubes (Eagle Creek) which I rarely used, except the small one for undies. When I get to my destination, I still have clothes in a bag in my Osprey- or I have to hang things up. Not convenient. With the hanging pods my clothes should be easily accessible wherever I go. I even store them on drawer handles at home. My one complaint is the extra lining on the strap which the hook from the bag goes into. All the other loops are unlined, and the hooks go in quite easily. This one is lined with an elastic, which I assume is to make it more secure- but is really a pain to hook in and out of. It is already all stretched out from just a couple of uses. Next time I change the strap to a different size bag I think I am just going to cut it out. 1/2 star off for the loop lining. Other than that, these bags are brilliant- lightweight, seem durable, and are very versatile. I read a couple of comment that they aren't really compression bags- but the fact that you can attach the hook at the top to the bottom of the same bag does give the compression aspect- and makes them more square- if that is better for your travel bag. I got them for $38 on a sale just before Christmas and had points from my Amazon card which covered- so free to me :-). I would definitely recommend them at that price.

Interesting design
I first tried packing cubes last year. I'm a really good packer, so I found them to be a complete waste of space in my luggage because they allowed for so much unused space in between. In fact, I could pack nearly 60% more without them! The one thing they were handy for though was as overnight bags where all we needed was an extra shirt, undies, toiletries and PJs. The only problem is they didn't have long enough handles to carry comfortably unless I put them inside of another bag. The trtl packing pods solve that problem. They have a handy strap that make them more like some sort of camera bag. I haven't been able to use them yet because -- lockdown -- but I can see where they could really come in handy. I also like the fact that they are graduated in size so longer items that don't pack down so neatly can be on one end and smaller items can be in the shorter portion. I think they will be a good addition to our travel packing. Even if only as an option for an overnighter.

You're missing out if you don't have these!
I love these travel bags! At first I was hesitant to purchase them because it was my first time using seperating cubes. What sold me on them was the fact that you can stand them up right and see everything in them! Oh how I was missing out before! They are not only great to see what I have inside but I save a lot of space in my suitcase as well! I used the large one for my jeans, winter ski pants and windproof jacket. I used the medium bag for my shirts I believe I was able to fit 8 in it. The little one could not fit a whole lot so i used it to store some socks. It still worked out great. I didn't get to use the hang feature yet but oh the possiblities! I like knowing I could use the bag as a satchel incase I needed one on the trip. I also like how they're water proof for the satchel reason and also because my suitcase doesn't fend off rain well. I totally recommend these bags!

Surprised at the quality is an understatement!
I was a little hesitant to to purchase these bags. But I am sure glad I did!! The quality and the thoughtfulness that was put into this product is hard to come by now a days! I mean they really did think of everything when it comes to a quality product. 1) sizes are color coded that even my 5 year of could help "grab the yellow tag one that is large". 2) there is a built in tag to place my contact number in case they are lost. 3) the handles fold over to the G clip can loop over a closet rod! 4) the quality and stitching are perfect no missed stitches or questionable seems. I will be using these bags for a long time to come the med one is even perfect for my gum trips!

Nice quality, unique design
Great design! I like the odd shape. You can hang it and pack it. Not all your clothing rolls up to be the same width/tallness. Put the wider stuff in the back and short things up front. If you really want it as a cube you can hook the clip to the back and now it's a cube! I just wish the loops in the back were a tiny bit looser. I mean by just 1mm or so. It's a very tight fit. I get that when you use the included shoulder strap you don't want it potentially falling off, but for people with long nails, weak fingers, arthritis, or general hand boo boos it could be a problem. Can't wait to use these for Italy! Got such a cheap fare, thanks coronavirus!

Great for backpacking
I love my Packing Pods by Trtl. I normally use compression cubes, I was really frustrated that when I was in Mongolia, that I had to take out everything in order to reach the bottom of my cubes. Now I'm so happy with my Packing Pods - I can tightly roll and pack my clothes vertically so I can see what I'm looking for. Plus hang the bags up if I wanted to. It's great to take it with me in the evenings when I am exploring the town using the shoulder strap. I used to pack a nylon bag just for that purpose and now I can just empty the small bag and use it as a run around town bag. It's great for the Camino Santiago !! I realized that I own a travel pillow by these same makers too. Good job.

Great bags, poor shoulder strap design. Buyers beware before purchasing.
The bags themselves are awesome. Love the styling and functionality. The 3 star rating is due to the included shoulder strap. It is nearly impossible to slip on the hooks due to the poor design. Very frustrating to use unless you only use on one bag and never intend to change it which kind of defeats the purpose.

I will start off by saying that Trtl is a great brand and these are a great quality set of packing pods with a unique design. There are some neat and nifty features in that they are space saving, you can link them up, hang them, leave them open to dispense the contents. There is a locking loop on the zips and a detachable strap so they can double up as a travel bag. Very versatile. I think these are more useful when space is limited like in a caravan or camping in a tent. I find the irregular shape of these pods strange. The idea is to roll your clothing items for more efficient packing and less creasing. I found the creasing about the same so that didn’t improve anything. Once packed up they are bulky and awkward to pack neatly into my suitcase. I like that they are strong but lightweight, made of recyclable materials and a lot of thought has gone into the design but personally i feel they are over-engineered and a bit unnecessary. They are very expensive for what they are as well and i would prefer a more regular shaped and modular set of packing cubes to use for travelling instead.

It can't escape your notice, if you've read Marie Kondo's book The Life-Changing Manga of Tidying Up, that there are similarities - two that I've noticed. Firstly, when you look at the way the product photos have been done, clothes are rolled up in the way that Marie Kondo talks about in her book. Secondly, the colour scheme - that particular shade of turquoise, combined with greys. Is this synchronicity or a deliberate move on trtl's part? What we have here are three packing bags, that are fairly much the same, just different sizes - small, medium, large. On the outside they are grey and black ripstop, created from recycled bottles. On the inside smooth, turquoise polyester. Tags at the mouth of each bag help you know the size of the bag - yellow for large, royal blue for medium, turquoise for small. Many designers presented with this challenge would make a rectangle, but not trtl - these bags are a kind of elongated triangle with a zip opening almost from top to bottom. Supplied is a single fairly narrow black strap running through a wide shoulder pad. This attaches at top and bottom of whichever bag you decide to attach it to. It took me a fair while to figure out how the metal clip on the bag attaches to what seems like a dangling piece of strap - I finally realised there is a loop sewn into the end of the strap, and the metal clip threads into it. This is not what I'd describe as a failsafe strap attachment - I reckon every once in a while it will fall off and you'll find you've dropped your bag - that is, unless my understanding of how the strap works is wrong, or you can figure out a more permanent way of attaching the strap to the bag if this is important to you. Each bag has a sturdy loop and metal clip, both of which can be used to hang the bags from whatever it is you want to hang them from, or from each other if you feel that helps. I've recently been watching a bunch of urban preparedness videos with people describing their Every Day Carryn (EDC) bags, and the things they like to carry in them - categorized so they can be located easily. This trtl packing pod system would be a good foundation for such an EDC system. Aside from the clip system on the strap that I am a little bit concerned about if 100% certainty is important, my only other real concern is the price of this collection of three bags. It's not a completely unreasonable price, fifty quid, and it's nice that they're made from recycled products and are therefore not so damaging in their environmental impact, but if you're after packing bags you'll find products that do a very similar job, maybe without the ultimate versatility of these trtl bags, for about a third the cost.

If your a camper you'll know the pain of keeping dirty laundry stored away where it wont go bad when camping without access to a washer. this bags are great for hanging up in the tent and keeping coaching out of the way, I LOVE that you can turn these into a little day bag as well with the strap thats included with this. It also makes organising your laundry and packing it away for travelling ALLOT easier. the three sizes work really well and the all 3 bags can be stored in a suitcase or back pack. I just really like that you can store stuff in these and can hang them up. I have a 5 meter bell tent so I have plenty of head room and being able to tie these inside the tent high up off the ground is a big advantage. I would definitely use these to store containers with sugars and Jam's in as well to keep ants away. pop inside a plastic bag and into one of these and you dont need to worry about creepy crawlers going for your food and running around in your tent.

These bags are strong and tough and made from recycled plastic bottles. It includes a carry strap so you have an across the body bag for comfort. Roll your clothes to save some space and reduce wrinkles. You can link your pods together to hang out of way or hang separately. I packed some items in them to see about space, in the large one I got 2 pairs of jeans, a pair of shorts, 2 T-shirt’s , socks, underwear and a waterproof coat with a little room left. In the medium I got 2 jumpers (1 a thick wooden jumper) and 2 tshirts. In the smaller one I added a few toiletries. The bags are quite spacious but more ideal if going for a weekend or camping rather than a weeks holiday but an interesting packing solution. They are rather expensive in my opinion for what they are at £49.99, I would probably buy a suitcase or rucksack instead.
