Sandman Box Set

Beautiful set, I've read this before from the library and loved it so much I wanted a copy for myself to enjoy again.

My Sandman 30th Anniversary Box Set arrived much earlier than the estimated delivery date and in excellent condition! I was worried the box might be cracked like others I’ve seen, but thankfully it was perfectly intact. I’m now on the second book, and the story just keeps getting better—immersive, haunting, and unforgettable. The paperback format makes it easy to read, and the whole set is definitely great value for money. So glad to finally have this collection in my hands.

Amazing series, but the packaging it came in was terrible leading to half the books in it having a crushed/bent corner.

IN LOVE Package arrived sealed and in great condition. Ans as for the content, c'mon is THE SANDMAN! A must have for any literature lover.

I have read every issue of The Sandman via the library. I loved them enough to buy the set. These 30th anniversary editions come in a display case that contains the original 10 volumes and the lesser supplementary material. It costs a lot less than buying each on its own. As for the story of The Sandman, what can I say that has not already been said? The 1st 10 volumes are perfect. The only thing that could make them better is if there was more of Dream himself. I love the character so much that when he would only appear at the end of some of the issues I would be disappointed. The stories were still great and thought provoking each time. I just started rereading Preludes and Nocturnes and going into it having an understanding of what is happening just makes it even more enjoyable. My mom even wants to give the comics a try.

Update 10/09/2020: Replacement copy arrived undamaged. Packaging was still the same (one bag of air), but looks like it was handled with better care than the first. I'd like to note that this was shipped alone, so if you've ordered this with other items, your packaging may differ. The individual novels appear fine and undamaged too, so I've adjusted my rating accordingly. In either case, I'm still happy to have this in my collection. Original Review: I'm happy to finally have this collection, but come on. Who packaged this? It was loose in the box, there was one air packet, and it was retaped. So it was very disappointing to open it and see the bottom of the slipcase was cracked and broken.

4 stars Only because the way it was received but delivery overall was 5 stars. Amazon, Please refer to photos because there should be no reason this heavy item should have been banging around in the box there should have been some kind of material keep it from moving around. There are2 corners where the manufacturer's packaging platic seal it's broken from most likely...banging around in the shipping box. We expect better from you.
