Excellent replacement battery
Exact fit. Works fine. Don't have to buy a whole new UPS unit. Just make sure you got the right model number.

Excellent replacement battery.
Since 2010, I have purchased 2 of these battery replacements. The original battery lasted about 7 years, while the replacement went for 8+ years of daily use. I expect this second replacement to last just as long. No leakages, easy installation, quality you would expect from APC. Been using their products for years and they are worth the price.

Great Process for replacing a dead battery
Easy to install, clear instructions. Worked immediately. Comes with a return box for the old battery. Just take it to UPS, and they ship it back (cannot use USPS), so this was great. Free shipping, label included.

Good, reliable replacement batteries.
I have three APC battery backups at home and order these replacements whenever the batteries start dying (and the backup starts beeping). I know there are cheaper ones to buy online, but I just don't feel safe buying 3rd party batteries. I have friends who buy them and they work without issue, but I always feel like I'll end up burning down my apartment, so I buy these. I usually bring the old batteries to Staples or Home Depot for recycling. I usually get close to the predicted life-span promised by these batteries. 4-5 years with average use by computer equipment.

Long term reliability
It powers my big box to run my computer and cable and other items. Lasts long and is affordable vs. other makers. I would buy it again.

An "official APC" battery replacement.
As the years go by, eventually your UPS batteries start to fail. When that happens, your choices are either to get a replacement battery or write the whole thing off. The price of the replacement battery here was excellent, and replacing it was a simple matter. Trickier was "recycling" the original battery, but there are always places around that will accept the "bricks". I sometimes can never tell whether to trust the on board diagnostics or not, but one interesting trick is pretty low tech and also reliable. These units all have a base operating temperature, and one can simply "feel" the unit with one's hand to get an idea for it. Then just "feel" it again every few weeks to make sure All is Well. But if it starts to *get warm*... Oops. An easier way is to get a laser temperature thingee and just point it at your UPS to get a reading. Ex: #1: 85 degrees, #2: 83 degrees, #3: 86 degrees, #4: 140 degrees, #5: 83 degrees. One of those units has the symptoms of a failing battery and needs a closer inspection.
