Livid (2011) ( Livide ) [ Blu-Ray, Reg.A/B/C Import - France ]

The blu ray played on my American blu ray player, so i can only assume that it's region free. Absolutely stunning film, my personal favorite of the French Extreme movement

Yes, it's a kinda strange one, but I dug it. The setup's a bit long, but once it gets moving, it moves. Two plot elements are rather pat, but overall it evens out. That said, the ending is, well, really very French, in that it does something "poetic" to close, and it's not the high note the director thought it was. There was a better very ending right before it, and that should've been the one. Still... it wasn't dumb enough to mar the whole thing. -- Good cast, interesting story, pretty decent pace and build. It works well enough and is better than average.

I love it. Sure, the logic is a tad wonky, but it's so nice and creepy. I saw a review of this movie on YouTube, and I knew I needed to see it. It's like watching someone's nightmare. It's a great, spooky, French Gothic horror film.It used to stream on Amazon, but not anymore. I miss it so much. I'd buy a copy of my own if I could find one that would work on one of my players.UPDATE: I have this blu-ray now, and I love it. I bought a special region-free player just to watch it.

The storyline was like "The Collector" but what they unleashed in the mansion was a creature like vampire look. Very gory fun film. This is a film where you have to read the English subtitles but it was worth to watch. No actors or actresses I know in here. Great roles and lines. Definitely four stars for me. Recommend it.

I am disappointed. The only reason I took a chance on this foreign bluray is because the first reviewer claims it played just fine on his American bluray player. I just got this disk. No go. It just won't play. I've tried it on 2 different players. That reviewer must have had an American all-regions bluray player and forget somehow to put that little detail in. I am not happy.

first of all anyone knows how i get a version that can be seen in usa please let me know,now i did review this film online witch is never as good as real dvd,why they don't sell this in all countries i don't get it but the movie was filmed beautifully one of the most beautiful films ever,the story was cool,good acting,enough blood to satisfy but nothing like inside the directors first film but i like that they showed a different style of film and for me it worked i loved it very fun to watch,i just wish i could buy the dvd here someone help find a region 1 version,

Yet again the French pull off another amazing horror movie, probably the best horror of 2012, a fantastic new take on the vampire genre from the same directors as the gore fest Inside, The story is great and has so many original elements and fantastic set pieces and a great cast, there are plenty of scare moments and creepy atmospheric music to accompany the scenes, as you expect there is plenty for gore hounds as the movie is a bloodbath near the end with some awesome gore effects and some cool creepy ghostly effects too, this is an awesome horror and must be seen, the bluray picture quality is very good and the disc does have some features too making it a great purchase, gem of a film.

Fun horror movie with cool visuals and not much story. I have a region free DVD player and live in the states. This movie comes with English subtitles.
