Be aware with your formulations that this is not a one to one substitute for beeswax, it is twice as potent! So, be sure to use half the amount.

Does what you would expect it to do. I use it to make lip balm. It does seem to have a little bit higher melting point, so I had to adjust my lip balm recipe a little bit.

Very good wax. Used for salves in lieu of beeswax. Just note use 1/2 of what you would when substituted as this is a harder wax. Melts easily when making product. Won’t hesitate to buy again.

This is the third pound of wax I've bought from this company and every time it has been a different consistency. First it was pellets, then it was flakes, now it's powder. To try to maintain recipes for my business makes this challenging. If working with the company, I suggest weighing the wax you use vs using measuring cups as this makes a big difference when the consistency changes each order.

I was looking for a vegan substitute to beeswax and decided to go with candelilla wax. I made a body balm with it (olive oil, shea, castor, coconut) and absolutely loved it! I added 1/4 cup (I believe) and it added just the right amount of thickness to it. will definitely be purchasing this again! :)

I have been very happy with my purchase. I use the candelilla wax in various products for my small business (Novel & Star). I have used it for lip balms, salves, and to thicken my body butters. I will continue to buy and use this product as its reasonably priced and it works.
