I bought this to use with a TravelPro roller suitcase on a recent trip. The idea was to have a messenger bag with camera equipment that I wouldn't have to sling across my shoulders, but rather keep it on top the suitcase...with this strap. Once I got the size around the bag right, it was only a matter of pulling this out and wrapping the bag around the pullouts with my roller. No issues with this setup!

The strap has a nice thicker material and the texture keeps it from loosening during travel, which was exactly what I was looking for. Some straps have a thinner material, almost ribbon-like, and are so smooth the strap loosens easily during travel, defeating the whole purpose of a luggage strap. So I was happy when this one arrived. However, the clips are made from a more brittle type of plastic, and the clips broke the second time I used the strap. It made it through one flight, then came out onto the luggage carousel broken and tied around the suitcase handle on the flight home. So while the strap material was thick and durable, the clips were way too weak. I’ve done a fair amount of travel, even international with heavy heavy suitcases. And this is the first time a luggage strap couldn’t survive one round trip flight.

We travel often & our luggage is black & dark grey (like everyone else’s). Just used these on our last flight & was so easy to identify ours. Very well made & easy to adjust the size needed!

I am not using this strap for travel, but to secure a rolled up foam mattress pad. It was easy to use as it was long enough and the buckle was easy to secure.

Nice strap, I love that it’s thicker then most straps. Buckle seemed good, unfortunately though the strap is heavy duty, there is only a thin piece of plastic to hold it together

So glad I selected this strap. I travel quite a bit and I am getting increasingly frustrated with how luggage is handled (imagine, drop kick into the cargo hold). This is like a little bit of extra security and piece of mind. It was easy to use. Its sturdy as heck. My only complaint is I wish I would have gotten one years ago.

Good product, but you can't lock it tight so it tends to become loose when the luggage is handled.

As usual another great product from "Swiss Gear." Luggage straps do exactly what they are supposed to do, no issues with them, all good.

Don’t waste your money, folks.

This strap does exactly as you would suspect. I use it to secure my briefcase at work. Good quality.
