First Edition Bloom & Wonder Stripes 12" x 12", Multicolour, 12x12 Flowers Scrapbook Album

I use these scrap book albums as a journal and I now have many of them

The inside plastic paper covers rip fairly easy - already the botton of three pages has ripped open so I cant use these pages - rather disappointed

The album is good, you can fit in extra inserts which is what I like, quite a lot many more as the file is expandable. The system of inserting extra pages is a bit tricky, but easy once you realise how. However, the expandable spine is made of a very very thin paper which can very easily rip and mine has done so around the hole punch area. This is a shame as the product designers could have easily used a thicker more robust card or laminated thick paper instead. The album itself does feel very good quality and looks nice, and you can add a front square image in the frame at the front which is a nice touch. The only other problem I have with it is that if you are filling it quite a lot, you will find the plastic inserts (you can buy more 12"x12" sleeves e.g. papermania brand). They do hang low beneath the edge of the base of the album when you lift it. I would really like an extra layer of protection for the album - specifically a box cover that you can slip it into when storing away - like you see on other photo albums sometimes. I have used this album for my art-portfolio collection of Square artworks. For some reason square art portfolios are apparently not yet made, nor are square ringbinders. So this was the closest thing and it works quite well for my purpose except for the noted design flaws.
