Damn good product
Works fast and exactly as advertised. Super simple prep and finish, and the repair looks as good as the original finish.

Best liquid blue I’ve tried, I’ve tried many others
This bluing is by far the best I’ve ever tried! You see the birchwood Casey, brownells and others all over the place but this stuff makes them look like they’re 50% diluted! I’ve done a lot of bluing on rifles, axes, saws, knives and everything else on a variety of steel. This bluing goes on STRONG and very dark but even unlike other brands. One or two coats it’s more than enough for most projects as where the other brands often take 4-6 treatments until the finish is even and not spotty! The process I use for this bluing is heating the metal to sweat out oil, cleaning with brake cleaner or acetone, heating just slightly then apply a heavy coat of bluing with a cloth. The color changes instantly with this. Once the color changes but the product is still wet, I use a piece of 0000 steel wool and gently buff the bluing into the surface until the finish becomes dry and dull, once done you was the part of with water, hit it with a clean piece of steel wool very lightly to bring a gloss finish, degrease the part and either repeat the process or apply a heavy coat of a protective oil, let it sit for a few hours then wipe off excess! I couldn’t recommend this product more! Here are some examples of the finish I got with this product, the steel was sanded down and rust free before bluing.

Works Well
This bluing agent is either more concentrated than BC Perma Blue, or uses an entirely different chemical reaction altogether. It results in a much darker and more even blue, which helped me touch up an inch or so of bare steel that was left by dissolving and polishing a spot of rust on a steel barrel. The chemical reaction is fast and exothermic, so do not use steel wool to apply this product because the steel wool will immediately get blued and fairly hot. I used paper towels and had no troubles. As always, read the instructions on the package before you even open the bottle.

Great product but physically stinks
Not bad works great but the only reason I’m giving a 4 star is cause the smell is absolutely terrible and you can’t get it off for nothing.

Works better than expected
I've used other cold blues with mixed results..I tried this on a marlin 1894 reciever and it left a nice dark bluing..not a blue color but more black looks great for what I'm doing..decent price as well.

The best
I remember the glue from when I was young putting together all of those model cars. It mends the plastic very fast so I can move on to the paint job

This stuff is awesome!
After seeing this reviewed and used on YouTube I bought a bottle. I have used it on old wrenches I am restoring. Leaves a very nice dark blue on them. Very nice.
