Perfect for tie-dye project
Purchased these cloth tote bags for a 4th grade tie-dye school project and they were a hit! I researched bags to use for this project and these were the most affordable and durable looking so I grabbed them because I had 76 students for this project. I have to say that almost every single one of the kids bag came out awesome! Durability wise, I was a little concerned at first because these bags were going to be used by little ones but they all held up. I only had a problem with one of the kids bags. I noticed that when I was rinsing the dye off the bag that there was a tiny rip at the seam but I was able to quickly sow the rip easily with bag inside out. I probably could have just left the bag the way it was but I didn’t want to chance the rip getting bigger on the child. I also think that ai might have cause the seam to rip a little when I was rinsing the dye off the bags and twisting them to drain that water from them. So I would just be careful when rinsing these bags since they can’t it’s not recommended to put them in the dryer just to be safe. For the bag color…I would have preferred to have purchased the bags in the white color but the white wasn’t available in the quantity that I needed. So instead, I went with the beige/natural color instead. At first, I was concerned that the beige might be too dark for the tie-dye but it wasn’t at all. However, what I wasn't a fan about when it came to the beige/natural. Was that all of the bags looked like they had little brownish bugs on them when I first opened the boxes. Come to find out that what I thought might be “bugs” ended up just being the darker natural fibers showing on the bags. However, because the bags were being used for a tie-dye project. I did rinse all the bags before having the kids tie-dye them. So when I rinsed them I did try to get as many of those darker fibers off the bags just to be safe. You will see that I included both a photo of the beige bag I purchased so you can see what the color looks like next to a plan white piece of paper to help buyers if they are also concerned with the two color differences. As you can see in the photos of the finished bags hanging on the rack drying. The bags do get pretty wrinkled once they are rinsed. The manufacture of these bags actually recommends that you don’t rinse or wash these bags unless it’s absolutely necessary. However, since I needed to rinse the dye off the bags I didn’t really have a choice so they needed to be rinsed (twice). Because I’m a perfectionist I ended up ironing all the bags after they dried to get all the wrinkles out. This was obviously not necessary, but since I was giving the bags to the kids. I wanted all the bags to look perfect and brand new when I delivered them back to them at school. Which they absolutely did.! They all looked perfect and I even put little ribbons and name tags on them so each bag looked like a little gift for each student. Overall I was really happy with these bags for this tie-dye project. My son and his friends have been using them all summer for just about everything from sleepovers, beach bags, and play dates to carry toys park sports equipment. I even used my sons bag for a grocery shopping once. And I didn’t have a problem at all with the bag carrying some pretty heavy groceries. It’s the perfect take a long bag. Good luck!

Great fabric project!
I thought these totes were great fabric for the price!! I was super worried how theyd turn out but it was great. They are a bit thinner and more transparent in a sense compared to a normal thick canvas bag. I used these for kids though so they didn’t mind. I used them for a painting project and they worked very well. The handles were a bit short for an adult but I think with younger kids they’re perfectly fine! They came folded in a plastic bag so they’re very flexible and easy to fold up. I didn’t really try after painting them though. I would think with mod podge or gel on top the paint, they’d be fine to fold after.

Good Quality but Thinner Than Expected
I ordered the natural-colored canvas reusable bags and they arrived quickly. For the price, the quality is solid and they’re great for block printing projects. They fold down very compact, which makes them easy to store. The only downside is that they’re much thinner than the photos suggested, so I was a bit disappointed when they arrived. Still, they work well for my needs, and I’ll be using up the rest of the pack.

Good size, good tote, do the job.
This is the second time I've purchased these totes. The are plain. But they do the job ~ able to fill them with what you want to carry. Or ~ fill with what you need to gift. I ordered medium size. Perfect.

Great Medium for your Creative Impulses
When it comes to gift-giving, I’m a really dangerous combination. I’m cheap (thrifty) and I have an inflated opinion of my creative abilities. Having said that, I have found a gift that people actually seem to like and use: custom tote bags. These bags, which come in a variety of colors, are the base. I trend toward the boring beige, tan and white because, who doesn’t love a neutral. (Especially with a fun iron-on.) They also come in bright colors like a really pretty dark pink, a Halloween orange, two greens, a navy blue and bright red, which may be perfect, if your haul includes juice boxes, a binky and diapers. Honestly, this bag allows all sorts of embellishments. Dye them, fabric paint them, heavy duty embroidery (lots of designs for that) and the aforementioned iron-ons (again, lots of options – literally – for every occasion). One thing I don’t recommend – do not dryer dry them after washing because they will shrink – badly. Line dry them or air dry them, then iron them before placing the design and you’ll be fine. While they may not hold all of your farmer’s market purchases, they will hold a snack, a book and sunscreen while you wait in line to pay for your pickling cucumbers and bagels with vegan cream cheese. And, guaranteed, at least one person will ask where you got it.

Beautiful color and I do not like pink.
These are a great color and as described. They are lightweight but not wimpy. They iron well, and when I used them for crafts, I found them to be very suitable. You will want to place paper between the sides so paints and glues do not seep. I did not have occasion to wash them, so that is an unknown.

Bags shrink when washed
I ordered this for the kids to tie-dye to use as a beach bag or a library book bag. I did not notice anything online but when you get it, it says do not machine wash. Now I’m getting them for kids so they will end up getting washed and frequently, also tie-dying you need to wash before and after tie-dying. I DID machine wash them, even though it warned me they would shrink, and they did. More than I was expecting. They will still make good bags and the kids will still love them, but just a heads up if you’re looking for something with that particular measurement or something that needs to be easily cleaned. This is a cotton bag, not a canvas so yes, the material is thinner, but that was not a problem for me.
