Bought these after moving into my new apartment and using orthene because TikTok told me that would help if there was a possible pest infestation. Turns out there was no infestation but lord did the orthene leave the funkiest smell. Even when I vacuumed, swept, mopped with pine, vinegar, Clorox, or odorban the chemical odor of orthene was still trapped in my apartment. No airflow from the window or air purifier could get the underlying smell out. It was so bad I returned my shark vacuum because the smell was embedded. Eventually I went to TikTok for an answer and found this. I read the reviews and took a leap of faith. BUY THESES!! They work. If you’ve ever smelt orthene powder you know how bad it smells. Clorox couldn’t even get it out. This works so well. It’s not a cover up it gets the smells removed on a molecular level. Even in small spaces like closets and laundry rooms. My apartment now spells like a home. It last so long. I need to recharge mine in the sun for a reset but it still smells like cleanliness similar to the smell of clean fresh laundry without fake fabric softener just freshness. I ended up buying 2 packs of the large size for my mother to refresh her house. She loved it, she said it got all the trapped, stale air smell out. Her home is older so you know older homes trap odors and have linger smells she says the house is so fresh now!! We love it!!! So worth the money. I bought mine in September and it’s almost November and I haven’t recharged them yet but my home still smells good. My only regret is getting the mixed size. I don’t like the smaller size,they don’t do anything much in my opinion the larger size is a better buy.

I've had these in my car for a few weeks and the smoke smell is gone! Purchased a used vehicle and whoever owned it before must have chained smoked in the car. Sizes are exactly as described.

I bought these because after the nieces arrived from their camping ;I saw a mouse in the house. These were suppose to keep the mouse away from my area until I could catch it/them. I don't think it was effective for that but there were no odors in my craft room.

The package arrived on time and in good condition. I wasn’t sure about whatI I would find upon opening, but all of the bags were nicely placed inside of a giant zipper-style bag and there was no discernible odor. The only scent came from a sniff of the cute APB(Air Purifying Bags) containing charcoal-smelled mildly charcoal. I had great recommendations about these and I couldn’t wait to see them in action! One of my favorite things about these is that they have a place for hanging either over a hanger or using a “S” hook. The small ones fit perfectly in shoes, golf bags, pet areas and more. The large APB’s are showing great promise for conquering sports/boy stuff room odor-there’s already a difference. One pack went in the car. I was worried I wouldn’t have enough packs, but this selection of twelve seems perfect.

I was doubtful about this working in my house, mainly because I have 3 hockey players who reside here. I put the charcoal bags out to activate in the sun for the afternoon. Then I followed the instructions to set them out, and all I can say is WOW. I started with half of them then added the rest. Hockey stink in the basement is gone. The bags each got one and I hung up several charcoal bags in the area. I will “reactivate” monthly. Now the shoe and laundry areas, bathrooms, cars, basement gym—any bad smells are gone and it has made such a positive difference. There is no “scent” at all (no fake fragrance is added), just fresh air! I have weird chronic migraines, and things I smell can actually trigger a migraine. These activated bamboo charcoal air purifying bags really do help eliminate offending odors and absorb moisture that cause the odors. It’s one less thing I have to worry about. I bought more (for every room and for my car) and recommend them to the hockey teams!!

My roommate has cats and I always keep them out of my room, so it already smells a bit better than the rest of my apartment. But the moment I added these to my room (and I hung ALL of them), it had a significant difference in making the place take on a new freshness. While not aesthetically pleasing, I can't smell the cats PERIOD. Solid buy. I would get it again. I did buy it with an air filter, and I do have plants in my room. I left for a couple of weeks, air filter stayed off, and I took the plants. Not as fresh as it was with everything combined, but it was still better than it was prior. I added some beeswax candles upon returning and your girl is living her best life.

I was disappointed to find out that these did not work in the room where my cat liter box is it. I also had them in a bedroom and again, I did not see any effectiveness. Wouldn't waste the money again.
