Not the lightest (i did buy a huge one though) as you would expect it's pretty good at keeping the rain off you, big enough to give some dry area's to sit in and very very versatile, i suggest searching Youtube for video's of how to utilise this. strong, well made and just what i wanted when i ordered it.

A great tarp. I really love it. So well made, and a really good camo pattern. It works really well in woodland. Also not too shiny, as I’ve found some tarps can have a very shiny surface and reflect sunlight, which kind of spoils the camos effectiveness. As I said, I really love this tarp and I see it lasting for years to come. It’s quite a heavy tarp, but it’s also heavy duty, so that’s the compromise. I would definitely recommend this tarp, and other AquaQuest products.

Great tarp, well made, plenty reinforced tie out points and can take a beating, 100% water proof.

Excellent quality, very tough, completely waterproof and with lots of loops and attachment points. As others have noted, it's quite bulky and heavy.

Let's be clear, there are lighter tarps out there for backpacking and hiking. But for basecamp style camping out of the back of the car, in the woods etc, this is simply outstanding. It's a quality piece of kit, seams and webbing are strong with reinforcement at points of stress. This is exactly what I look for in my camping kit. It doesn't need to be the cheapest. It can cost more so long as it justifies that cost. That's exactly what this tarp does. Highly recommended.

Unbelievable quality, would be perfect for a minimal pack but it does weigh more than I wanted in my pack and that's the only reason I returned this item.

Not just a regular tarp.....but a super tarp! It is completely waterproof, I tied it off to trees with paracord, hanging just a few feet above my bivy. Even in a heavy downpour for hours the rain didn't get through. Of course there was some condensation, but that's true with any tarp. The material is top notch, it comes with an array of extra, useful accessories (if you buy the kit), and the tarp itself is very versatile in terms of how many variations of use there are. Only downside is weight, about 5lbs. But still very much worth the money!
