MAPLE SEA SALT, CHOCOLATE/SEA SALT and GINGERBREAD!
Just tried the MAPLE. Like this one better than the CHOC SEA SALT and I really like that one, but maple is nice change of pace. IF you like maple, I really think you will like this one. EDIT: In the past, I tried all the CHOCOLATE ones, like raspberry, coconut, sea salt. SEA SALT DEFINITE FAV! I just tried the Gingerbread and I thought, WELL, I'm either really going to like it or NOT. I LOVE IT! It doesn't have the overwhelming date flavor many of the chocolate based ones did. BUT it's also not too spicy. Just a lightly spiced gingerbread taste. TASTES are relative though and your mileage may vary. BUT if you're interested, I would try while it's on sale. That's why I got it. It was 13 and change, which is a REALLY good price for 12 RX bars! ------------------------------------------------------ PROS: TASTE - LOVE THE MIX OF CHOCOLATE, SWEET AND SALTY! The others in the Choc Variety Pack, tasted basically the same to me. They were good, but I got Choc/Date. With this one, the bit of sea salt really satisfies with mix of sweet/salty and hey, add chocolate....! TEXTURE: DENSE like FUDGE. Last one I had was part of the Choc Variety pack and was more moist, HOWEVER, it is below FREEZING here and I think that made it harder (just got them and ripped one open to eat). It doesn't taste at all stale, I think it just FROZE. LIKE THE TEXTURE. INGREDIENTS: OK HERE is where RX REALLY SHINES. I can read and understand the ingredients, about as basic as you can get. "Clean" ingredients are hard to find in many protein bars. FILLING: OMG YES! Unless I am SUPER hungry, this can suffice as breakfast or lunch. COST: Best price I have seen is on Amazon. If you can get these for about 1.50-1.70 each, I think a GREAT BUY for what this has to offer. 12 grams of protein, only sugar is from the fruit in it and it helps quell any craving for a dessert for me.

No Sugar, No Gluten, No Chemicals
My cousin, who is really into healthy eating and measuring all her food, turned me onto these. There is nothing artificial in these - no sugar, gluten, seed oils, dairy, or chemicals. They taste delicious, just like a chocolate bar. Each bar is 200 calories, and in my cousin's Weight Watchers-type food plan - which was created for her by a professional nutritionist & dietician - one of these bars counts as one serving of fruit and one serving of nuts. The only problem - aside from them being 200 calories - is that they are super gooey and stick to the backs of my teeth, so I immediately need to reach for my toothbrush after. Definitely not the sort of snack I would want to be eating in public or in my car.

Best Tasting Protein Bar I've Ever Had
As a regular lifter, I've tried a lot of high protein bars: Quest, OptiBar, Clif, Pure Protein, PowerBar, Think Thin, ZonePerfect, etc. While they all market themselves in an effort to separate themselves from their competitors (e.g. "Chewy, delicious, tastes real!"), they all fall prey to the same drawbacks any high protein bar does: high amounts of sugar alcohols, chalky and/or hard texture, artificial and dry taste. And if you dare take a look at the ingredients list, you're bound to found some un-pronounceable words. Of course, in return you get a bar with relatively low calories and fat, and high protein. For as long as I remember, getting a good tasting protein bar that didn't have a ridiculous amount of fat was a dream. Then I found RXBar, which is the alternative I've been waiting for. The packaging says it all, the ingredients are natural and few in number, and the taste is better than any protein bar I've ever had. Now I am big fan of healthy food, so dates and nuts were a delicious prospect of an idea to me. In fact, the bars taste more like a chewy, dark chocolate bar with nuts than actual dates, which is even better (I got the Chocolate Sea Salt bars)! Of course, if you only like sugary, artificial flavors these might not be the bars for you. As someone who maintains a relatively high protein diet, these aren't a replacement for me for the high protein bars I previously mentioned, as the price is definitely higher. However, I switch off between these and something like an OptiBar in my regular diet now and it's fantastic. Tl;dr: These bars taste better than any protein bar I've ever had, and with none of the artificial ingredients you can't pronounce. You'll be paying more, but it's for a higher quality bar. Similar protein content (a little less compared to some) compared to a normal high-protein bar, but from different natural sources rather than just whey.

Tasty and filling
I order these often. They are good tasting (if you like dates) and fill me up. I keep these in stock.

Taste good but chewy, sticky consistency
The taste is pretty good, but they stick to your teeth like few other foods. Also the chocolate is meltier, sweeter, and messier than expected. At the end of the day, if it tastes like a candy bar, opt for real food instead and treat these kinds of bars as an occasional sweet treat or a necessity in a pinch.

Nicely compressed protein bar
I discovered this from the recent Sample Boxes. It was my big discovery of that lot. Their smaller size can be deceiving, they are compressed protein bars, you can't inhale them like a candy bar. It is smaller bites with more chewing. The Dates are probably the primer suspect for this. The taste is nice enough that I would definitely eat them as a dessert, not just as a protein or nutritional bar. The sea salt is kinda decorative on the top of the bar. The first four ingredients are listed on the front, and while it's a nice and catchy way of doing it, it may confuse some into thinking that's all the ingredients and in that order. That "No B.S." below the ingredients is probably what's causing the confusion. The ingredients, in the order they are listed in the ingredients list on the box are Dates, Egg Whites, Almonds, Cashews, Cacao, Sea Salt, Natural Chocolate Flavor. A plus though for the front of the wrapper is that it shows exactly how many items are included, a rarity in food packaging. In this case, it's 3 egg whites, six almonds, four cashews and two dates. Inside the box, you get 12 individually wrapped bars. Nutrition wise, this is 200 calories, 80 of which are from fat (9g total, 2g saturated, 0g trans). It is 0% cholesterol, 10% sodium (240mg), 22g carbs (4g fiber, 12g sugars), 12g protein, 350mg potassium (10%). It has six minerals ranging from 4% to 20%. The box says Made in the USA, No Gluten, No Soy, No Diary, No Added Sugar. Allergy wise, it's the main ingredients (eggs, almonds, cashews). Most people don't eat the cardboard box, but it looks nice if you want to give it to someone as a nutrition gift. It nicely breaks flat for recycling. Other than the previously mentioned ingredient confusion, the other issue is price, look for them on sale or with a coupon or with a Subscribe and Save discount. Look for them at $2 or less per bar for the 12-packs.
