Other Manufacturer NECA Aliens Series 1 Corporal Dwayne Hicks Colonial Marine Action Figure

This figure looks good. Maybe not quite as good as the recently released Predator series 8 or 9 figures, or the Rambo action figures that have all come out this year with the new translucent plastic that looks like flesh, but still good. The detail, the artiuclation is all very nice. The camo detail on the clothing and body armor is spot on, even the hand painted heart on the chest plate for Hicks is movie accurate, as well as the tattoo on his left arm. The head sculpt of Michael Biehn as Hicks is a bit better and more accurate than the one used for Kyle Reese for the Terminator action figure NECA put out last year, but it's not up to snuff with the Dutch figures from Predator series 8 and 9 that are uncanny look-alikes of Arnold Schwarzengger.So maybe it doesn't look just like Michael Biehn as Hicks from Aliens, big deal. It's still the best looking Aliens figure yet, and this series 1 with Hudson and Xenomorph are the best Aliens figures produced to date. The detail of the pulse rifle and the shotgun and shotgun holster are great. Chris Gawrych, David Silva, and Jason Frailey did a great job with the sculpt. As always Jon Wardell and Geoffrey Trapp killed it with the paint job. I am a bit disappointed that he didn't come with his headset or helmet, as we rarely see him without one or the other in the film. I am impressed. I think this is the best production year NECA has had. With Predator series 8 and 9, Rambo, Pacific Rim, The Lone Ranger, Bilbo Baggins from the Hobbit and now Aliens, this is some of the best looking action figures ever put into production. Any fan of Aliens needs to get their hands on this Hicks figure and the Xenomorph. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Was a little pricey but I could not find this action figure for a long time. Was very pleased wit my purchase. No damage to item or box. Came on time wit no problems. Would buy from this seller again! Great job!

Ilove aliens and this figure rocks, and the detail is awesome, especially the shotgun and pulse rifle! I JUST WISH IT CAME WITH HELMET

My recent purchases of NECA Aliens figures have been hit or miss with the paint, having returned two cross-eyed Hudsons. This Hicks is a definite hit! Like the others, the scuplt is on point. I got lucky with the paint today. It looks like a tiny Michael Biehn. The eyes and eyebrows are great, the skin tone matches and the armor it good. This one is a keeper. If you get a badly painted one, return it. If you have the cash, order 2 or 3, hope for a good one and return the others.

I thought the detail was great but the legs lack stability.

Pros-I mean it's Hicks....-Comes with Pulse rifle, Shotgun and shotgun Scabbard-Awesome body and armor paint job-Great sculpt of Michael Biehn, to appreciate it just change the lighting angles-Highly PosableCons-my Hicks' face looks a bit weird in broad daylight...the paint just seems...off...is he pensive or brain dead?-Shotgun is dinky in his hands....looks like a .410 not a 12 Gauge-Mine was kinda priceyOverall it's an awesome homage to the character and the actor. I grew up playing with the old Kenner Aliens and Predator figures as a kid, so I was pretty excited to have a solid Hicks fig to stand with the old one. The figure is highly articulate, and his boots even bend at the heel like Hudson & Windrix, so you can position him at almost any angle, even doing the funky chicken with a xenomorph...I get lonely :( lolBottom line: If you can get him at 30-40& I'd so rock and roll. Great fig and great addition to my Marine family. Stay Frosty Marines!

Great figure only have two complaints the eyes are different color and their is a paint blind on the chin not sure if I romve it if it will make it worse I’m no painter sooo other wise good figure
