Item is good but overall idea is questionable
First of all, the item itself is top notch. Well made, fits lenses perfectly, doesn't leak lite. So if you are looking for a similar thing - think no more. But I tried it several time on different occasions and I have to admit it just useless. And it's not because the item is low quality, it's just the whole idea of this kind of shade is useless. But, once again, if you think you need one - this item is great on it's own.

A good idea but could do with some improvements
It's a very good idea and works quite well. But it is difficult stretch the hood over a 72mm lens, never mind 82mm! You couldn't possibly do it with one hand. Also the hood is a bit too loose and floppy, so it can be slightly awkward to position it such the the edges are sealed all the way round.

Fantastic Photography Accessory
I’ve been following this product since it first launched through Kickstarter and am glad to see it has made it on to Amazon! The ULHgo fits easily onto my dslr lenses and does exactly what it is designed to do... plus a few extras. I have only had a couple of opportunities so far but the ULH excels at completely removing reflective glare when shooting through building windows and also aquarium fish tanks, and from the looks of the website fighter jet canopies too! Also worked backwards as a pretty good splash guard while shooting at the coast! 10/10 would highly recommend.

It doesn’t fit in the 80mm range as advertised
Purchased to use with my 24-70mm Nikon f/2.8 but it would fit. Doesn’t even come close. So it never got used. Won’t fit my 14-24mm Nikon either. So for me it was a waste of money. Its pretty flimsy and the rubber tore very easily while trying to get it to fit.

Works - But Overly Expensive
First off this is stupidly overpriced in a hobby that already is wallet busting. I bought this for twenty quid based on the fact that it's 'original' and apparently very good. In reality you are getting a bit of folded rubber that probably cost a few pence to make. Really. Don't get me wrong, it is a nicely presented bit of rubber but the money is not justified and now having got one I reckon I should have plumped for a generic cheaper one at a few pounds. Of course the reason it is more expensive is because it's supposed to be the best of this type but, honestly? I'm not sure. The idea is so simple that pretty much anything that is similar will work. Not only that I have a nagging suspicion that a similar product that's a bit firmer will work better. The actual hood is quite floppy and won't hold it's own shape. When you rest against a window that means it won't seal firmly against it leaving usually a gap at the bottom. You can of course close this up with your hand, but sometimes that's not practical. For instance my wife uses this set up on her camera in the kitchen looking out over a closely located bird feeder. She sneaks up and uses a remote button to take the photo so cannot hold the hood flat against the window by hand or the birds will fly off. And because of that sometimes there is a bit of light pollution from the open bottom. A firmer hood would be able to be pressed against the window with the weight of camera and tripod. Bottom line is that this can work, is foldable and thus portable but, isn't as good as the advertising makes out and is stupidly expensive for what it is.

Expensive second hand piece of rubber covered in hairs? :S
When i recieve the package the box was damaged, the box looked as though its been opened a few times at the tab. Opened it to find a company information card from the company as well as the hood and a cloth bag. The card says lens cloth is included i was confused at first to where the lens cloth was yet on here (amazon product page) it says the bag is the lens cloth so that was confusing and disheartening at first. Next the worst part was the hood. As i inspected it the hood was covered in lots of little small hairs its as if someone used it as a hair catcher when shaving or gave it to their dog to roll around with or used it as a dog's frisbee. So much for "anti static" coating. Convinced i was given a returned used product :( Other than that it works as stated. though a bit expensive for flimsy rubber for my liking doesnt keep its shape as i think it should. :/

Great little device, does what it's supposed to.
Works just as advertised, and fits well onto my camera (Canon 200D). Only used it around the house to test it out and it's great, can't wait to use it properly. The little travel bag is perfect too as I'll be taking it along with me whenever I have my camera.

It works
I purchased this for use in photography from tall glass fronted buildings to remove reflections that ruin an image. As one can see though the images (taken from the Shard) are not identically framed one can see the value of the hood in the second image in removing reflections (thus not having to painstakingly removed them in Photoshop). The sole issues are getting the hood onto the lens body which can be awkward. The silicone material attracts an inordinate amount of fluff and dirt so needs to be washed regularly. Also given that we only have two hands it can be hard to work the lens hold the camera body while keeping the hood rim firmly pressed against angled or curved glass. This more so for those with smaller hands such as myself. But overall it works well. One other thing security may be suspicious of such an item as they were at the Shard. However the staff at the viewing platform are more than happy to allow one to use such an item.

It’s silicone, so its very floppy and a little fiddly to use, but once you get it sorted, there is zero reflection. The only down side is it tends to suction to the glass, which can make zooming in and out difficult, as it prevents the hood from rotating, with the zoom ring or lens. This shouldn’t be an issue with higher-end and larger lenses with internal linear zoom mechanisms.

Brought this in preparation for a trip, that was intended to get some shots at night, and through windows. In general, it's tricky to use as it's reasonably flimsy, and you pretty much have to keep it off the focus ring on a lens, either for AF or manual. But once set properly to the window, it does a great job of getting rid of interior glare. It's effectiveness makes up for it being a mild challenge to use. I'm not sure if increased stiffness would be a real benefit, so I'm content with this for my purposes.
