well made accumulator tank for your RV
I bought this accumulator to try and stop the pulsations of the water pump in my RV. They have smaller versions of this that are about a quart in size. I chose to go with the 2 gallon one. it is obviously larger and takes a little more room in a cabinet but so worth it. Installation was not to difficult, except for working in a cabinet. You will need to buy some pipe fittings to install it also. it worked so good, no more pulsations in the water, just like home. They pump does run longer when the pressure in the tank drops to the cut in point however it does not run as often and turn off and on rapidly with lower water flows. I highly recommend one of these for your RV

Great product, easy to install, 3/4" MNPT is accurate
Great product. Super happy. The thread is 3/4" MNPT as advertised. Many reviews mention troubles with pipe thread, but a standard 3/4" FNPT to PEX fitting from a local big box worked just fine for me. I've used the much smaller model from their competitor in much more space-restricted camper build. That helped with pump cycling, but this tank changes the game. Flush the toilet and wash your hands - the pump doesn't even kick on. It's only during really prolonged use that the pump is needed. Not to mention the added consistency in pressure. We don't have much use for both sinks and the shower at the same time - but we could if we wanted to now.

Exactly as Advertised
This pressure tank is installed in my motor home. Campgrounds do not provide enough water pressure to operate my tankless/on demand water heater which requires 50 # of pressure. This gets the job done! And, it quiets my water pump and the pump does not cycle as often/long.

worked as designed.
Did the job. Added it to the boat fresh water system, the pump noise is too quiet now, hard to tell if it is running. Should have bought the 1l version but space was an issue. Functions right out of the box for us.

Perfect replacement/upgrade for Jabsco 12573-2000
I wish you could give bonus stars! The old jabsco 12573-2000 accumulator sprung a leak and I don’t think they make that model anymore and I REALLY didn't want to change styles, sizes, or drill new holes. I found this for an absolute bargain compared to the closest jabsco replacement and hoped it would work as it looked identical in size and shape from the picture to the old one. Not only was it physically the same size but even the screw holes lined up exactly the same. The fact that it even has rubber isolators in those screw holes was icing on the cake. The fittings are the easy to use plastic hand screw wingnut style and are extra long. I was concerned about the length difference but when I went to take the old accumulator out, the hoses were stuck. No problem! With the longer fittings I simply cut the hoses off at the old fittings and popped them right on the new ones. It’s like the person that designed this had actually done the job before. If you’ve done any work on a boat, you can greatly appreciate all of those details that make the job that much easier. The standard valve stem and bladder system are an upgrade over the old one as well. All in, it took me longer to gather and lay out all of the tools I was expecting to have to use than to actually replace this part. I want to say it was maybe 10 minutes. If you are in the same boat as I was, do yourself a favor and buy this!

Must have for Tankless Water Heater Units in RV’s/Travel Trailers
My tankless hot water unit wouldn’t work properly due to low water flow, they require a minimal flow rate and my water pump in my RV couldn’t provide it by itself, I ordered and installed this Accumulator tank and it keeps my water pressure at a steady flow rate and my tankless water heater unit is now functioning properly as it should!

Just the right capacity
This pressure tank is used in a weekend cabin. I have a 100 gallon fresh water tank as a reservoir to pump water to a shower and 2 faucets. The tank has a large enough capacity that the water pump doesn’t run continuously. In fact, one or two uses of water at the faucet are possible without the pump on. Not only is that easier on the pump, reducing wear on the diaphragm, it is also quiet. My previous softball size tank had so little capacity, the pump turned on with each use of the faucet. This caused the rv style water pump to wear out after just a year of use.
