These are small but mighty. I grabbed them to secure a flag and they’re rock solid, no janky clips or flimsy metal nonsense here. The white rubber coating is clutch because it protects your pole and flag from scratches, and the swivel action keeps everything from getting tangled when the wind picks up. Bonus points for how easy they are to snap on and off. These things mean business, and they’re built to last. If you’re tired of flags flapping all wild or coming loose, do yourself a favor and grab these. Patriotic perfection.

They appear well built, but the problem is they won't easily go thru the flag grommets, had to force it. Just need it a little bigger and it will be great.

I live in an area that gets windy a lot. It is not unusual for us to have 20 MPH winds with gust to mid 40's. I have tried plastic clasps and brass swivel clasps. The plastic ones break easily due to excessive heat and then freezing cold. The brass ones work well but eventually they separate at the swivel joint, due to the high winds. I've had these for a short time, but my observations are, that they will not swivel as the rubber coating prevents that from happening. This was a concern but the flag flies great, regardless. There is no noise created due to the rubber coating, this alone makes it a worthwhile purchase. Unless the rubber deteriorates over time, I do not envision these ever failing. Even if they do eventually fail, I would purchase them again.

These were beyond expectation!

I bought these to replace my brass swivel clips because the constant clanging was driving my neighbors a bit daft. I live in Scotland and it can get very windy, so I get it. Well, when I saw these wee treasures I had to have them. They work perfectly. And they look great. My halyard is only 6mm and it fit through the round part no problem. But I can’t see these working with much thicker rope tbh. But they are perfect for what I need them for. So thanks again Amazon.
