Got this kit for my electric paddle boat, works great! It folds nicely so I can fit it into a storage area in the boat. I got it in the daytime and I was worried that it was not bright enough...after using it at night, it is plenty bright! Kit came with everything I needed to mount it. If I had to gripe about anything it would be that it is a little pricey, but I went with it because it saved me from buying separate bits and pieces.

We purchased 2 for our Kayaks, They mount easy, are durable, handled being drug under a tree on accident as wasn't thinking the height, when passing under a branch. The only thing is when we first used and opened the light, we didnt tighten the cap on one well and during kayaking a wave came knocked the Cap and the light bulb inside fell out, so currently need to replace the light which is 16.00 for a light. other than that lesson everything functions well, folds and hold up to the Sun and Salt well. We live on the Gulf of Mexico and no issues with Salt buildup or Corrosion inside.

Got this product for my Old town 120PDL and it works great for what I needed! Super easy to "break down" and store away in the provided "flag/bag" super super convenient. Definitely a must have and would recommend to any serious kayaker!

I got this because I fish the salt flats and wanted others I fish with to be able to see me and of course for boats to see me. Well, it works great! I was off in a small salt creek not too far from my buddies and they said they could see the flag sticking up over the grass. That's a plus. You can see it in use in the photo! It looks good also. As I fish tournements a lot, many require a flag if you are going out in the ocean at all. Great product and the light works, I just haven't used it as I don't fish at night in my area.

Folds down and stores away very easily. Light on the top is bright without being too bright. Fits easily into the track mount and stays put. It's light weight and good quality. I give 4 stars because I think it's a bit pricey for what it is.

I bought this unit last year but only unboxed it today for a kayak fishing trip on Barnegat Bay, NJ. The fiberglass rod holding the flag hust snapped in half rendering the unit totally useless.

The item stows away nicely. The light can be seen for quite a distance at early hours and night time. The flag is very bright and can be seen easily by boaters.

I used this on my hobie lynx H-rail. This is my second purchase , in between tried others. Decided to get this again coz it’s lightweight , easy to setup , v bright, v waterproof. Cons - Got to be mindful not to over tighten when locking into the rail as it will over time dislodge the screw nut from the flag handle .
