30' extension pole and subsequent purchase of the 24' pole from same company
This is an extremely well made pole - strong and sturdy. It is heavy for me (woman but fairly strong). I got it for roof snow removal because all the dedicated snow removal rakes were sold out. I have not tried it yet but my gut tells me it'll be cumbersome even with a 1 story roof and not a steep pitch. It has no give. So quality 5 usability for snow removal, unsure. UPDATE : I sent this back and got the 24'. The 30' weighs 6 lbs. which I thought would be no problem as I have and use 8lb weights. The height and being able to use it was too cumbersome and physically tiring. Also the pole extensions, although well made, took a lot of effort to extend. The 24' pole weighs 4lbs but also seems quite heavy. This time, I will not unpack this until I am sure I can use this pole vertically. I just got it so have no idea how it will go. The return was very easy. Amazon came and picked up my 30' pole and dropped off the 24' - all within 24 hours of my return and reorder. The only thing that made me nervous was no receipt from the Amazon driver when he picked up my returned 30' pole. On line however, shows my return is in transit.

To wield it is to reclaim dominion over space
There is a peculiar dignity in the tools that grant us reach beyond our mortal limits, that let the hand ascend where the body cannot follow. The DOCA Telescoping Pole, slender yet stalwart, rises like a promise fulfilled—metal gleaming with quiet resolve, joints firm as a vow kept in solitude. With it, the weary homemaker becomes a master of heights once surrendered to dust and neglect. I extended its silver length toward the dim corners of my dwelling, where cobwebs—like ghostly threads of memory—had lingered unseen. The pole obeyed without tremor or complaint, carrying the duster aloft as though guided by unseen grace. No ladder clattered, no peril disturbed the calm; only the gentle fall of forgotten dust, descending like snow upon a cleansed earth. Its reach is generous, its movement sure. The locks hold fast, granting strength without weight, command without strain. Indoors or beneath the broad melancholy sky, it performs its duty with unflinching purpose—whether brushing the soot of old eaves or cleansing the high glass where sunlight falters. To wield it is to reclaim dominion over space—to turn decay into order, shadow into clarity. There is a strange exultation in that act, quiet yet profound. Thus the DOCA Pole becomes more than an implement of labor; it is a symbol of humble triumph, of endurance raised skyward—proof that even the smallest hands may touch the farthest dust of heaven.

Well, the windows are clean!
The pole arrived yesterday and I immediately unpacked it, assembled it, which was very easy, and got to work on my 1 1/2 and 2 story windows. I'v been waiting to get those done. The product performed as needed, but like other reviews, I found it a little hard to handle on the second story windows. There's a learning curve here, folks! It's heavy, and the squeegee has to be at the correct angle to get the glass wiped dry. The squeegees included in this kit are good quality. I know from experience that it's 'all in the squeegee work'. If you ever watch a professional, they start in the upper corner, go across the top of the glass, then swirl back and forth on the glass until they reach the bottom. This avoids streaks and they don't have to wipe the squeegee between passes because they aren't stopping and starting. Clearly that's not possible with this set up the way it is designed. This is 'top to bottom' only. You could adjust the head to go side to side, but the same problem develops as you are starting and stopping, which gives you a streak. It is helpful to wipe the squeegee rubber between each pass, this avoids streaks between the passes, but after a couple times of trying to bring that head down to wipe it off that got old and my arms got tired. I'm almost 70 so this wasn't that much fun. BUT, I did get them done and am very pleased with how the windows looked. My upper story windows haven't been done in several years now because of the height. I was going to hire it done this year but decided to give this product a try first, and I'm glad I did. I won't let things go so long next time. This tool will allow me to get them done each year at least! The sun room windows look crystal clear. That's the 1.5 story windows and they do get done every year. Overall I am pleased with this product and will use it again. I might have one of the kids come over to give me a hand handling the long pole when it's extended almost fully for the second story. Or, have them in the open window and have them wipe the rubber off between swipes so I don't have to lower the pole between wipes. That would work too! Overall I am pleased with this product, it's pretty sturdy, but not indestructible, the head is plastic after all, so I will handle it with care and enjoy the clean windows and the brilliant fall color shining through them!

Docs does what other poles couldn’t
We bought the 36 foot reach docapole to clean some high picturesque windows. Over the last ten years we had tried two extension poles with microfiber and squeegee heads. I started with an off brand and then Mr Long Arm. I used Unger microfiber cloth with squeegee I would struggle to get the job done and it was never streak free clean to my satisfaction. And if it was cold or your hands got wet it was to the point of painful to change extension lengths. Sometimes requiring tools to help. The inadequate attempts at window cleaning led to my wife looking into costs of a window cleaning service. I thought we’d try this docapole and give one last try at DIY. GAME CHANGER. The fenestrated pole and adjustable quick locks completely avoid rotational slip. The Doca attachments screw on tightly and don’t unwind when it’s up at 36 feet, no more having to duct tape your squeegee or bringing the tool back to the ground to attempt another repair. I found the Doca mop to be another major upgrade, I finish a whole story of windows before I have to reapply window cleaning solution. The upper aspect of the windows is angled, the bidirectional rotating squeegee head makes the job look professional. WARNING-it worked so well, my wife asked me if I could clean out under the fascia boards at the peak of the house, about 36 feet up. The pressure washer barely reaches there and can’t keep anything above 12 feet clean without a ladder. I used the DOCA mop and a 1:1 mix of simple green and white vinegar applied with the docapole. Then washed off with 0 degree nozzle on pressure washer. When it dried it looks freshly painted. We had been talking about needing a new paint job due to mildew discoloration we could not manage. Now gone! Worked so well I ended up washing the whole house. Looks great. I didn’t say it was easy. At max extension you need a strong back and shoulders (or a second person) to be able to position and move the mop for cleaning. And looking straight up for too long of a time can be a pain in the neck. Two tips to pass on. After you place the solution at the mop end, secure the butt end against the house foundation or a similar sturdy structure. Walk your way up the pole until the mop end becomes airborne. It then gets very wobbly and hard to control. Rest the mop end against some trim or similar, then walk or bounce the mop head over to your desired cleaning location. If you question what length to buy, I would recommend you go with the 36 foot reach. Without extension it works well as a 10 foot pole. If your house is only a one story you may consider a shorter pole. But check out the attachments. You can use the pole saw attachment and do your own tree maintenance, etc. I’ve only had the docapole for three weeks but it has already held up to a lot of use, and paid itself off multiple times. And opened up a lot of cleaning and maintenance options that I previously would not have considered. Highly recommended.

Sturdy and of good Quality - and YES, the 30' pole is heavy - as expected
I am very happy with this pole. I needed the 30' pole to wash windows and reach cobwebs. And it works very well. The quality is good. The pole is beefy. It has multiple levers that you can easily move to expand or retract sections of the pole. So each lever is to extend an additional section. This design makes it much more compact for the less tall locations. To address some reviews that describe the pole as "HEAVY" - well, the 30' pole is heavy and beefy, no doubt. But that's what I wanted. I have another pole that is much lighter, but it's way too flimsy for the type of work that I need to do. It takes some practice when fully extended for the 30' reach, but once you get a system down, it's not bad. I feel like this thing is going to hold up over time. I also like the variety of attachments, although I really only need the window washing and cobweb attachment.

Nice pole, bad attachment
I had high hopes for getting our windows clean with this outfit after looking at quite a few options. The pole by itself seems to be pretty well made, durable, when it is collapsed. Once you begin to extend it you start losing sturdiness. For the height of our windows it was ok, I could still apply a fair amount of pressure to the glass though the pole flexed. The cleaning/mop head by itself is ok. I'm not sure I agree that these microfiber things are better for cleaning than cellulose sponges but it did a fair job. I am using Unger window cleaner and water. The sgueegees aren't great. First, you could slice your hand trying to insert one into the channel on the head. Getting it out will probably be more dangerous and I recommend a trusty glove while doing both. If I applied a good amount of pressure to the glass, the sgueegee did an ok job but no matter what I ended up with some left over water/streaks. I have not tried the other sizes, I'm using the middle-sized one, because I need to find a glove to try to pull this one off and then shove the larger one on. Haven't done that yet. The angled head - terrible. Just terrible. If you screw the green mop head onto the metal part of the pole, it's fairly secure but when you have the angled piece on the pole first, forget it. Nothing I did made the head stop loosening up while I was using it and getting the proper angle seems impossible. I'll have to add a picture later but when you screw the angle and the head on, they each stop at a wonky position relative to each other and the only way to make the head match up with that angled piece would be to loosen that connection. I have not found a way to get them to ever line up right. Then if you monkey around with the angles, well, I ended up with a big mess. For me, this feature is useless and I gave up. Maybe I'm doing something wrong but this thing doesn't come with even a scrap of paper with some basic instructions for use and suggested angle settings. Maybe someone else have figured it out and has posted instructions, I'll have to look again. The other thing is that the green mop head wobbles. It has a push button feature that lets you rotate the head back and forth. That is simple never tight. So not only does it come loose from where it is screwed to the angle part of the extension, the head itself wobbles. I guess it might all work better without that angle thing connected but of course that means I have fewer options for reaching things just right. I have not given up completely on this thing but right now I went from excited to clean windows (imagine that!) to very disappointed. For the price it's not worth having it just sit around if it turns out we won't use it because of these design flaws, so I'll be sure to return it within the allowed time if it doesn't change my mind in the next few days. I will look online to see if there are any videos about how others are making this thing work too. I really don't want to go back to climbing a ladder to wash windows, but the results were far better that way.

DocaPole Microfiber Duster with Extension Pole
The DocaPole Microfiber Duster with Extension Pole is a game-changer in household cleaning, offering a comprehensive and efficient solution for reaching high and difficult-to-access areas. I've been thoroughly impressed by its functionality, versatility, and quality. The extendable pole allows users to access and clean high ceilings, ceiling fans, corners, and other challenging spots without the need for a step ladder. The pole can be extended to impressive lengths, giving a sense of control and stability while handling the duster, allowing for a safe and thorough cleaning experience. The microfiber duster head is exceptionally efficient in capturing dust and dirt. Its soft, fine fibers attract and hold onto particles without spreading them around, ensuring a clean and dust-free environment. Moreover, the microfiber material is machine washable, allowing for repeated use and maintenance, reducing the need for disposable cleaning products. The flexibility of the duster head is remarkable. It can be angled and maneuvered into various positions, making it adaptable to different surfaces and shapes, ensuring comprehensive cleaning. The ability to lock the head into different angles ensures precision and ease in dusting and cleaning intricate spaces. The lightweight design of the pole and the duster itself is an added advantage. Even at its fully extended length, the pole remains easy to handle, minimizing strain on the arms and shoulders during extended cleaning sessions. The pole could be slightly sturdier, especially at its full extension. This might result in a bit of flex or give when applying pressure to clean tough spots. The DocaPole Microfiber Duster with Extension Pole is a highly effective and practical cleaning tool. Its extendable pole, efficient microfiber duster head, and maneuverability make it an indispensable asset for tackling household cleaning chores, especially for hard-to-reach areas. With its quality construction and versatility, this duster is a valuable addition to any cleaning arsenal.

For washing solar panels
Review Update October 2020 This set does the job as advertised. It has long extensions that are relatively easy to slide in and out while locking in place. I used the yellow microfiber material brush, pre-wet a solar panel, then simply slid the brush over the surface of the solar panel. I did not use soap. After running the brush over a panel I then washed it down with the hose. The difference between a washed and brushed panel was cleaner than a panel that was just washed with the hose. I suppose it would depend on what kind of dirt was on the panel. In our case it was ash from California fires. The downside is I'm 74 years old and with the pole extended about 20 total feet it was quite heavy for me and difficult to use. This is not so much the fault of the kit but rather the limited access I have in relation to the solar panels. I'm unwilling to get up onto the roof and a large aluminum patio cover restricts access to the panels. I'm going to ask one of my sons to finish the job. I was able to clean about 1/2 of the 20 panels. Were I willing to get up onto the roof I would have easily been able to do the whole job. With the pole extended it can be heavy. Initial Review: October 2020 We've had our solar system for almost 3 years. Occasionally they get dirty from pollen or ash from fires. In all cases I've been able to wash the 20 panels by standing on a 6' ladder and just using the hose to wash them. The most recent time the panels were dirtier than ever before and I'm not sure the simple approach really got them clean. I'm not about to go up on the roof at my age so I ordered this set. I was surprised at the quality of the extension pole which is stronger than I expected. The length of the pole should allow me to reach more than 75% of the panels. The attachments are of the correct shape and material so they will do the job without damaging the panels. I've already used the extension pole to clean a small window high in our kitchen that we were not able to reach after several years in this house.
