Oral Care System - Natural

I am hesitant to say I have gum disease and have been looking for a tooth paste for quite a while. I came across PerioScience and am very glad I did. The toothpaste, mouthwash and gel are the perfect combination to relieve many of my symptoms. Noting else I have tried over the years can compare to ProScience quality !

Helped with gum inflammation

These AO products were suggested for use to me by a periodontist that treated me in 2016. I had significant gum discomfort from a condition that had a sudden onset. It made brushing my teeth agonizing. Anything that came in contact with my gums caused excruciating pain and bleeding. I ordered this AO Periosciences set of HYDRATING gel, toothpaste and mouthwash and, literally within days, my gums were healing and the pain was markedly reduced. Within a week's time, my mouth had returned to its normal state. The antioxidants in the AO Periosciences HYDRATING products have a soothing reaction in your mouth. The flavor is very pleasant. I much prefer it to the most popular toothpaste on the market. While quite pricey, the products last a long time because each use requires very little to do the trick!

I know the first thing people will often jump to is the price. Is it worth the price? I would wholeheartedly say yes. I have used other teeth whitening "systems" previously, and even spoke to my dentist about options. Cheaper versions were not effective, and dental systems are WAY more expensive. I wanted to wait a few weeks after I purchased this system to write the review, because I needed time to see if it was effective. And it was. While I did not do this (I actually did not think about it until I was already a couple weeks in), I would recommend taking a before and after photo, because this kind of change is gradual, and that can be difficult to see over time. I would also recommend adding in a sensitive toothpaste or rinse in addition to the whitening system, as it can increase tooth sensitivity (as almost any whitening system can). This system is a clear winner: effective and not overly expensive.

This causes my gums to become inflamed. It contains many products that I can't test for allergies. It is expensive. Now I am questioning the toothpaste from the same company. It causes redness on my gums that was verified by the same DDS who said I needed it. Oops.

I never leave Amazon reviews, so this really says something. As someone who values taking care of herself and is mindful of the products I use and put on my skin, I was excited to find this line, knowing that they have antioxidants in them! I love the taste of the toothpaste, and I notice that it, plus the mouthwash, actually helps keep my teeth white. The gel is very soothing to my gums and has helped with the occasional irritation. The mouthwash doesn't burn as a lot of mouthwashes do. I see this system as definitely a worthwhile investment. A little really does go a long way, so I'm thrilled to know this will last me a while.
