I had a Tiger rice cooker which makes very tasty rice, but it’s a bit small (3-cups) and old. In order to replace it, I tried many other rice cookers, mostly with Fuzzy logic, some of them even have induction heating, but none of them can produce the same taste as my old Tiger until I got this high pressure cooker. This Cuckoo cooker is much bigger and is versatile. The build quality is great! Most of all, it produces great rice that competes with the rice you can find at high quality restaurants! It’s a bit pricey, but it’s already much cheaper than many other brands with similar functionality. Absolutely worth it! It’s easy to clean, 40 minutes of cooking time usually. Super easy to use.

So far, it is my favorite rice cooker. I ve had many brands but this is my 4th cuckoo, and am so glad I purchased this one. Not too many unneeded options. This one is legible, can see the markings in the rice pot it's white and stands out from the black finish of their pots. Most of them are all black and I can't see anything but this one! No problem !! Bought as a used item as were all the other purchases I've made on amazon, very minor scratches on heat pad in cooker that's it, it's perfect condition works well and easy to use!!, 10 cup cooker is bigger than I would like but quality for this price, hard to beat!!! Seals incredibly tight, great water catch (big) well thought out in design and configuration had similar unit but this unit is superior to 5 qt unit I had returned, so glad I did. Lid doesn't fly up with force as the other units do when opened. Better visibility of controls and it comes with a rice paddle holder. Now if they could include retractable cord and a lid that doesn't jump out at you ! Japanese models are better optioned in that regard. I think it would elevate their user friendly critics. Japanese rice cookers seem more detailed in user functionality and ease of use! For me it'sa 10 +++ Unit is 18 lbs I believe, so it is well made !!! Very happy with this item!!!!!!! Highly recommend

Never thought I would spend this much on a rice cooker but my wife insisted we needed a better one! And boy does this sucker work well. It creates nice high quality rice that can be quite sticky if prepared right. The Cook time is quick and it'll hold it warm at a good temperature for as long as you need. Its only a handful of button pushes to get it working, the only difficult part is trying to get the steam trap off the back! It requires more force than you would expect. The size its HUGE and you could feed a small Army with the amount of rice it can cook.

First time using a Korean brand cooker, been using Japanese for years. Cook very fast, Cooked rice is a little on the softer side, but good taste. I love the congee mode, it makes much better congee than any Japanese cookers I tried. One thing I don’t like is the little clear water collecting container at the back of the cooker, the idea is great but that thing is too hard to remove from the cooker to dump the water!

Don’t buy this! You will be disappointed. It was very hard to start I didn’t know why… I finally knew the tap to lock for starting didn’t work well..even though I lock it for making pressure but it says unlock.. somehow I have to make it lock.. I started to cook but sometimes it suddenly stopped to work. Even the taste is not really good.. If I didn’t through away the box, I would get refund… I have used many rice cookers. This one is the worst one. I would never buy any of cuckoo brands…

It’s a good price. But price does make a difference. I thought all rice pressure cookers were the same but it really isn’t. You can taste the difference. It has all the functions but considering that it is something that lasts for a while, I would spend a little more and get the more expensive kind. It does cook better than some other brands you might find at Costco or whatnot but if you want quality rice, I would say spend a little more. If you are buying an extra one for the times when you have large guests or for traveling, this one will do. However, for every day cooking, I recommend that you invest a little more to get a nicer one.

Rice taste good and also good for stew beef or bones for saving a lot of time.

La olla de presión funciona perfectamente a la altura del Valle de México, hasta el momento lleva una semana trabajando sin problema, el menú de selección es el más básico para este tipo de ollas pero suficiente. Veremos como se comporta después de un año de platillos preparados.

Works great. Noticeable difference in taste of white rice. Haventvtrued cooking anything else besides rice. Happy with purchase.
