Perfect replacement for pentair salt system. Anything that spends all their time in outdoors will need to be replaced sooner or later.

This was a fairly difficult project to replace. Space inside the box is limited and made it difficult to do. My original had a thick spacer that I had to salvage from the old holder and working space was cramped. You also have to watch the specs closely on your existing model. There are several versions of this box and they can use both different shape and amp ratings on the fuse. This came with a 2 amp fuse, so I had to find a 10 amp slo-blow fuse for my unit. I would recommend cleaning the electrical contacts on the external plug and socket as mine were fairly corroded. Possibly what cause the original fuse holder to overheat.

Saved me a good deal of $. No power to the salt cell. Old fuse busted trying to get it out. Hard to get to the fuse holder in the power box but once this was installed, it's working like a champ. Better than the $300 for a new power supply or $75 for a service call! We used this for the power supply to an Intellichlor IC40 salt cell.

Replaced fuse assembly in Pentair Power Center. Older models have this in-line fuse assembly. Not an easy installation unless you remove the Power Center from the wall. The fuse assembly is in the back right corner against the wall and behind the power out connector assembly. Screws are tiny. Be sure to use 1/4" by 1 1/4" 10 amp slow blow fuse with the assembly. The kit was just what I was looking for, and the only challenge was the position of the fuse holder within the control box. It's a bit tricky (mine was) to secure the fuse holder while tightening the unit. With a little patience it can be 'mastered', and the entire project only took about 20 minutes after opening the control door. It's a 'no-brainer' !

Product was as advertised and corrected the problem. Small cramped install space if you want to install it as suggested. I left the old piece in its place and simply disconnected the wires, attached them to the new fuse holder and tucked it in the metal box. Much simpler! The old fuse broke off in the holder so I needed the whole new holder.
