Apple Watch Series 5 (GPS + Cellular, 40MM) - Gold Aluminum Case with Pink Sport Band (Renewed)

Do not purchase these watches, read the reviews. 3 watches, all duds. TLDR: I bought 3 of these watches that all had issues and now have to wait up to 30 days for a refund I may not receive. I am confident they are replacing the glass on these watches sub par and then making them no longer waterproof. Once they have water damage, they say they will not refund your money, despite Apple watches being “swim proof” according to the site. The watches said they were sold by “woot” but then the box instructions had a different seller. I bought 3 of these watches for my kids about 10 days ago. From the start I had concerns because it seemed like they would not charge to 100% and set up was a little clunky. I also read previous reviews about the glass breaking easy, so I put screen protectors on them immediately. I have had an apple watch since they first came out, replacing them every 2-3 years, so I am have some experience of their capabilities and how they feel. In 10 years I have never once broken the glass on a watch and I do not wear screen protectors and I am your typical “klutz”. I agree with another reviewer that these watch glasses are not being replaced with apple quality glass but I am not an expert. Here is the issue with each watch This watch never charged higher than 94% despite the battery health being greater than 85%. I thought maybe it was the generic charger so I charged it with my apple watch charger. This did not fix the issue, and it would still never charge higher than 94% usually stopped around 91% even overnight. Within 5-6 hours of use we were getting low battery warnings despite using in low power mode all day. I thought we were going to be able to keep this watch, everything seemed to be going well, it charged to 100%, the battery lasted about 10 hours. Then suddenly it appeared to not turn on and the screen started glitching on and off. There were no visible signs of damage to the screen or the watch. However, the screen always felt off and we would have issues with touching and typing on the watch. He did wear this in the shower. This watch had similar issues to the first watch with battery and maintaining a charge. However, my son was in the shower and suddenly the watch kept making emergency calls over and over. So he gets out of the shower and I take off the screen protector and the glass is cracked, despite no damage at all to the screen protector (see photos). Similar to watch 2, something always felt “off “ about this screen as well. We will see how this all plays out in the next 30 days and I may update my review more positively if the seller stands by their product. But for now, I cannot recommend anyone taking the risk on these 100% functional refurbished watches. I am waiting to leave seller feedback until I have a resolution.

The watch was sent with an incompatible charger at first and I thought the device was broken. After I bought a different charger that worked, I was able to use the watch a bit. Not sure if it’s because of the refurbish but the battery life left me wanting more. Other than that the actual features and functions were pretty good. I’m not sure if the cellular was unavailable due to my phone provider or if the watch was too old but I could not get cellular working on the device.

Love love love my “new” watch lol I ordered a stainless steel series 5 in Excellent condition and this watch is amazing! Came in pristine condition, no scratches, everything worked beautifully, setup was a breeze, connected right away to my iPhone 12. Just one issue tho, battery health was teetering just below the guaranteed 80%, that was the only thing, I reached out to the company and their customer service and support was top tier, they offered to replace the watch but everything else was so perfect with it I just didn’t wanna part from it. So me and the company worked it out and came to an agreement that worked best for me and I ended up keeping the watch and receiving a partial refund. With that being said, surprisingly no issues with the battery life so far, keeps a full charge all day and half the night. I work overnights, so sometimes I have my watch on from 9am - 4am that night. Battery makes it thru the day with juice to spare, usually only hits about 35 - 23% by the time I finally get to sit it on the dock. And I do everything with this thing, I run about 2-3 miles per day, have to keep up with a toddler, plus his swim classes, boxing classes and much more. So far, this watch has stood up to the test! The specific seller I purchased from was WOOT, they have great ratings, and really good customer service, I would highly recommend them. Sold by woot, but shipped by Amazon. I ordered this watch knowing it was refurbished. I expected it to have some scratches or possible marks(barely does!). It looks almost brand new and was very happy to get an ‘excellent’ refurbished watch. My major issue is the battery health. It’s at 73%. I think as an excellent labeled refurbished watch, if the battery life is anything below 80%, it should be replaced before being resold. I am pretty disappointed with this. It barely lasts one day and that’s not taking into considering other factors, like the cold, extra use, etc. I will eventually have to have the battery replaced. Not very pleased with this purchase because of that.

I purchased this refurbished Apple Watch Series 5 expecting normal signs of use, and to be fair, the physical condition was exactly as described. The screen and casing arrived clean, with no noticeable scratches or damage. From a cosmetic standpoint, it felt like a solid buy. Where things fell short was the battery. The listing didn’t mention battery health at all, so I assumed it would at least be within a reasonable range for daily use. Instead, the watch arrived with 72% battery health and an immediate “Service” warning indicating the battery needs replacement. At that level, the battery drains quickly, which really affects usability. I contacted the seller, and while they did offer an option to mail the watch back for inspection, the process wasn’t exactly convenient. They would first “check it” and only then decide whether a replacement battery is possible—no clear guarantee. If you’re looking for a watch in great cosmetic condition, this one fits the bill. But if battery performance matters to you (and with a smartwatch, it really does), be aware that the refurbishment standard here seems inconsistent. A refurb should come with a battery that doesn’t require immediate service.

Apesar de que es un reloj reacondicionado llego en súper óptimas condiciones, me hubiera encantado llegue con su caja original por si más adelante me animo a venderlo, tenía temor me llegara con la pantalla dañada, rota o rayada pero el Watch está en perfectas condiciones llego perfectamente protegido viene con el cable cargador 🔌 y una hojita de detalle del reloj. En verdad estoy feliz con mi compra

Watch is like new. Needed a software upgrade and wouldn’t connect to my phone. Sat with the Apple store tech manager for an hour until he was able to get an iPhone SE to connect and install the software upgrade. This was after trying three other phones. The SE worked. I had to wait about an hour and a half for the download to complete. Was able to pair my phone afterward. All is good now. No charge from the Apple store- manager was great to work with.
