Alkaline Buffer 600gram

I was using PH Up and PH Down Liquids at first but they did little or nothing (Only used PH UP) - My 20 Gal Freshwater Tank is a beast when it comes to keeping the water parameters in check, but, as anyone in this Hobby knows, the smaller tanks need more attention. I got the Alkaline Buffer and it is Amazingly Effective. It's results are instantaneous, safe for the fish even when I boost from 6.8 to 7.8 in a single dose - Also the Tank stays Stable longer - This Tank is Notorious for Dropping in PH - So now when I do a Water Top Off (2 Gallons Weekly) and a 20-25% Water Change (4-5 Gallons Weekly) I add 1/2 Teaspoon and 1 Teaspoon respectively and it stays Stable at a very Comfortable 7.6-7.8. The Bottle has a Ton of Quickly Dissolving Powder in it that I am guessing will last at least a couple years at the rate I am using it. NOTE:- This will make your water Very Cloudy for a short period of time - it is Harmless to the Fish and Dissipates after a couple hours. Chinese Oranda's like a PH near 8.0 - the rest of the Fish, Snails and my Two Fiddlers like it around 7.0 or higher a bit, so Everybody is Quite Happy at 7.6-7.8.

I have been raising mystery snail babies and the bioload from so many in one tank was making the pH plummet. Which is horrible for their shells. I tried a pH+ liquid that did nothing. Then I saw a recommendation for this stuff and I was desperate. One little scoop of this in their tank and the pH and KH went up! What a life saver this was for my snail babies last month at home before going off to find new homes. I’m using this in my other tanks now too. Amazing product and boosts that pH within minutes!!!!

It does exactly what Seachem says it does. It'll raise your PH little by little while increasing your KH. Easy to understand and use.

Fantastic product order here sometime could be more on the acidic side changes the water to more alkaline which I need quite rapidly great product

Does what it’s supposed to

I have soft water from my tap and have very low KH. I use this to increase my KH. It will also increase PH. Work as intended. I add after every water change to maintain a KH of around 5 and my PH is around 7.4.

I have used this product before, so for me it's a reorder, the product work really well, yhats one of the reasons I'm reordering it but the other reason is, the price is good as well, and fast shipping.

Monte bien le kh au besouin,,, veiller a ne pas aller trop vite affain deviter les choques osmotique . Et aussi a equilibrer le ph en meme temps si vous utiliser dans un aquarium desja habiter. Si c pour preparer de l’eau de spare en vue d’un futur changement d’eau ou ouverture de bac,,,, ajuster d’abord le gh. Ensuite le kh et ensuite le ph pour moin de taponage et de meilleur resultat Mon eau a un gh et kh de 1 alors je doit absolument la rééquilibrer

My tap water has a very low KH (1d) and a reasonably high pH (7.5). Because of this the pH can be unstable in my 125 litre community tank. I use the Alkaline Buffer along with the Acid Buffer to raise my KH by 2 or 3 degrees without affecting my pH. The Buffers are easy to use and last for quite a while, depending on what tub size you go for. All of my fish, including the sensitive German Blue Rams, are happy and healthy.

Lo uso en conjunción con Acid Buffer ya que tengo la suerte de tener un agua muy blanda desde el grifo (KH 2) pero bastante alcalina (por encima de pH 8). Usando el ratio de 1:1,3 se clava el pH en 6,5-6,8 y el KH lo subo 2 grados hasta el 4.

My water is so soft, my PH registers at practically nil. This product is so great. Raises my PH with a minimal amount and sets my mind at ease re: the health of my fish. Seachem is an excellent brand that I trust 100%.
