Marcus Miller Super Bright™ Bass Strings | 5-String

I've been looking for this type of strings for over 50 years. Very bright with a piano like tone. Very little finger noise and they are forgiving if you don't place your fingers exactly between the frets. Dunlop makes some of the best musical products around. I love their picks too. I use them on a Schecter 37" scale 5 string bass & I'm totally satisfied.

I gig a lot and changed from JB to Ibanez EHB to shave some weight off my shoulder. I really like the Ibanez, except I really don’t like the Bartolini pickups and was looking to replace them with Nordstars. Tried Rotosound strings, DR, Black Beauties, but these pickups just don’t provide the clarity I was seeking. As a last resort before ordering new pickups I tried these string. Whoa what a difference. They really opened up the Bartolinis. I’ll keep giving like that for a few months and if it holds like that I’ll keep the Bartolinis. So for now, five stars. Of course, it highly depends on what bass you use and what sound you are looking for.

These sound and feel so good. Tension is similar to their nickel counterparts which is on the lighter side. A lot of give approaching the feel of round core. G string has more of a round body with greater fundamental, resulting in even tone and response to the other strings. The sound is brighter than nickel but in a warm and musical way, not brittle or brash.

Molto meno scavate sulle frequenze medie rispetto alle altre corde in acciaio: basse presenti, con ottima spinta e buona profondità, frequenze alte frizzanti e musicali, mai eccessive, e range medio appunto equilibrato, assolutamente non manchevole. Feeling personalmente perfetto: morbide e sensibilmente meno abrasive rispetto a quasi tutte le altre corde in acciaio, rispondono molto bene sia con un playing energico che con un playing più dolce e suonano benissimo sia in fingerstyle che in slap che con il plettro, oltre ad avere un ottimo contenuto armonico per tapping ed accordi; si intonano inoltre molto facilmente appena montate e tengono benissimo l'accordatura. Le mie corde ideali, complimenti (e grazie) a Dunlop e a Marcus Miller!

Pleasantly surprised how well these sounded on my bass, not even plugged into the amp. Obviously, they sounded even better plugged in but that's the ultimate test! They definitely have that signature MM sound and the light string feel is really nice for popping or pulling.

25 yıldır bas çalarım, keşke daha önce keşfetseymişim. Paslanmaz çelik tel kullandıktan sonra nikel kaplı tellere elveda dedim. Zing efektini hiç kaybetmiyor. Cayır cayır, gümbür gümbür bir tel. Bir basımda 5 yıldır var. Hala yeni gibi. Sertliğine alıştıktan sonra vazgeçemiyorsunuz. İlk çalıştaki pürüzlülüğü bir süre sonra epey azalıyor, çalışı kolaylaşıyor, bilginiz olsun. Bir de yazılmamış ama 34 inç baslar için ve heavy gauge bir tel.
