Perfect for kiddos
We love these CamelBak water bottles! Easy to clean - Dishwasher Safe. The bite valve and straw are easily removed for thorough cleaning and avoid mold. One of our kids is a chewer, but the replacement valves work just as well. If the bottle gets knocked around a lot (I mean, A LOT) the straw can fall out of the bite valve, but is very easily put back in.LEAK PROOF! I have seen several reviews complaining they leak. If the bite valve isn’t installed properly it will leak. You’ll be able to feel it click into place. We have had 2 of the older versions crack on the bottom. I don’t blame the product, but the users as we had the bottles for a year or so and they had been banged on sidewalks and tables and thrown on the ground dozens of times. Normal wear and tear.I highly recommend these for tots and kiddos of all ages.

New design is good. Old spout still compatible
This is our first Eddy with the new lid and spout design. Being compatible with all the others Eddy bottles we have was really important. The new spout design is better. I feel like it will hold up better than the old spouts. We have a toddler that gnaws, so sturdier will be good. The lid is a little bulky. The lids and spouts are interchangeable. You just have to match the straw to the correct spout. You can put an old spout/straw in the new lid. You can put the new lid on an old bottle. You can put the new spout/straw into an old lid, etc.We have really enjoyed our insulated bottles. They keep drinks noticeably cooler than the non-insulated plastic ones.

Best kid jug!
We love these water bottles. My infant stopped taking a bottle around 8 months and when I was desperate to get some fluids into him he picked up my grown up version and sucked down a good bit. I immediately jumped on here to find a kid version and we’ve tried them all! They are pretty leak proof though a few times I’ve found it sitting in a puddle. He’s 18 months now and loves toting his jug around by the handle and it goes everywhere. We’ve only replaced one that he shoved his finger down in and tore the spout. We could have just relaxed the spout but went ahead and replaced the whole bottle. They hold up well to all of the things a toddler can throw at them - even being thrown themselves!

Very nice bottle, insulated without being heavy
My kids’ previous insulated Eddys were stainless steel and quite heavy for them to carry around all day. This one stays just as cold and it also doesn’t make their hands cold in winter which is a nice bonus!
