This is exactly what I was looking for, great for small to medium fishing in a very tight places where a bigger gun can't be use.

Picked this spear gun on Amazon.com due to its lower price and quality brand name.Didn't realized how powerful it is very well capable of 20 ft. shots.So removed the short chord and place a 50 lb. test nylon chord 17 ft. in length.Soi the extra 4 ft. of my arm and length of the gun will give me a range of of 21 plus ft.The only down fall the spear isn't really sharp from factory but I sharpened it up a lil' bit and works fine .Also the band is a little bit hard to pull back to cock it definitely not for a weak person and will leave bruising on your chest if not wearing a wet suit.

While slightly difficult to pull band back while in water, you’re supposed to load on land then enter the water!! This mini speargun packs a punch considering the size!!! I highly recommend this product for HOBBY spearfishing the reef!!! However you shouldn’t use this item for large game fish. Fortunately this company has a wide selection of products. Just like regular fishing you must rig for target species. Anyways 5 stars great product great value

I'd give it a zero if I could. I'm not sure how it's legal to sell anything so completely worthless.First shot didn't even clear to end of the gun.Second shot the line got tangled in the bands.Third shot well pretty much died in the water.I'd say the lethal range of this gun is about 3 inches off the tip if you thrust it as you pull the trigger.Unless you only take point blank shots at very small fish do not consider this gun.I will be requesting a refund for this gun. I'm also going to link a video of this gun in "action" if you can call it that.

Bought the 41in carbine and the line that it came with broke immediately after ripping through a striped bass wanted to get a cheaper gun for my buddy to use and this was disappointing drove all the way to the water for this gun to fail me luckily it was a test run……fail!!! Lost the spear and can’t find a replacement hopefully I get my money back.
