Softest earbuds for side sleeping
The best sleep ear buds on the market. I have tried many and none are as soft and comfortable in your ears. There is a tradeoff though in that they break down. My last pair made it 6 months which I feel is a fair deal for something I use every night. I basically can't sleep without them so I hope they don't stop making them. I have tried some of Hearprotek's other earbuds but none are as comfortable. I prefer the 3.5 mm version and use a USB C adapter for my phone. I find that the 3.5 mm version with an adapter drains my battery significantly less than the USB C version. It must be the chip that runs the USB C. I have had some pairs break down faster but I feel like the quality has improved. I like the passive noise cancelation which the tips provide, so even after my audiobook stops I still sleep with the noise blocking. The complete silence and an eye mask allow me to sleep through a lot.

Incredibly comfortable and affordable!
These things are unbelievably comfortable. Literally the entire bud is soft rubber, including the speaker tunnel, so there are zero hard edges or bulky plastic pieces to cause discomfort. I'm a side sleeper, and most earbuds have a pinch point somewhere, but these truly do not. They're also quite secure in the ear. I'm a somewhat active sleeper, and with these I always have at least one bud still in when I wake up. Although they do not have interchangeable tips (the whole thing is one solid piece of rubber), they are flexible enough that I would think they'd fit most ears comfortably. The sound quality of these is quite good compared to other similarly-priced earbuds I've tried. I'm no audiophile, but they sound great for my purposes (mainly ASMR and spoken media, occasionally music). It's also nice that they have in-line controls. I don't use the mic, but it's handy to be able to adjust the volume. The first pair lasted about 6 months of nightly use before the left bud's volume dropped out. I didn't expect them to last forever given that they come in a 2-pack, but 6 months really isn't too bad. For the price, I really don't think you can beat these. I will absolutely re-purchase if my other pair dies! ADDED 9/2021: Been using the second pair for a few months, and they seem to have a misshapen 3.5mm jack. It fits into the port and the sound quality is fine, but it doesn't snap in properly. So if there's any tension at all (or even too much wiggling) on the wire, it falls right out. This is obviously a bit infuriating when trying to get comfortable to go to sleep. The tip of the jack is a visibly different shape than the other pair that works normally. I filed down the tip thinking it might just be a bit too long, but that didn't make a difference. Still a good deal for essentially one and a half pairs of earbuds, but thought it was important to mention that their quality control doesn't seem to be excellent. ADDED 11/2021: The second pair (with the defective 3.5mm jack) has now failed. Given that I purchased them about a year ago, I would consider $20 for a year's worth of comfy headphones a pretty good deal. And given that one of my pairs came with a defect, a proper pair would probably last even longer. I've ordered another set already, and I would definitely recommend these overall if you're on a budget!

Almost perfect... until the volume/controller kept self-activating at random
Bought for my daughter, her review: I have frequent headaches, migraines, occasional tinnitus, & some other symptoms associated with post-concussion syndrome /mTBI (minor Traumatic Brain Injury). I listen to different meditations, binaural beats, white noise etc. while I sleep & I have very small ears. I also use them in busy places to have some calmer ambient noise. For months, these were the PERFECT solution for me. I do recommend these earbuds. Pros: • Sound quality is good (enough). I'm sleeping/ relaxing/ using them for a specific purpose, usually at low-mid volumes. I don't expect top quality audio for the purpose, or at this price. (That said, I have nothing negative to say about the sound quality, review is based on what I use them for.) • They do fit a bit like silicone cone-shaped earplugs & that helps block out any external noise, as well as keep them in place. Occasionally they need a bit of repositioning if they 'wiggle out', but that's infrequent & not unexpected. • Positioned correctly, I can hardly feel them in my ears AT ALL - exactly what I hoped for. I am a side sleeper & can comfortably lie on my side (soft pillow) using them this way. My sleep has improved with these. • The 90° jack means the cable is less prone to bending & makes them generally sturdier & sits parallel with the bottom of my phone if I'm holding it/ using it. (My charging cable is the same, so they sit neatly along the bottom of my phone, no awkward cables extending down anymore.) Con: • After using one pair for a few months, the volume/controller started spontaneously stopping, starting, & changing the volume. Previously it had worked fine. After using the second pair for a few months, the same things began happening. There is nothing obvious to see, no pulled cable/ wires/ stretched casing. I'm going to buy a new set, because I can't find anything that is as good as these for me, but I'm really conscious of the amount of waste I produce so I'm hopeful I got unlucky with both pairs & the next set doesn't do the same after a few months.

These are much better than the ones with a 3.5 jack with an adapter. They don't hiss, they fit securely and don't fall out, and I can sleep on my side with them.

These headphones are a lifesaver! I'm the type who prefers to sleep in a dark room that's dead silent. My husband, on the other hand, has a fan, a TV, and an AC (in the summer) going in order to tune out tinnitus, and he snores. I honestly debated whether we should sleep in different rooms or not. After being married for 10 years, I thought I was doomed to a life of sleeplessness. In amongst the sleep headbands with speakers, were these sleep earphones. I didn't think it would be that easy, but I was wrong. When they arrived, I tried them right away. They're soft and have double tips - they block out SO MUCH NOISE! I'm by no means a sound connoisseur, but I mostly listen to videos and podcasts with no issues. I've even started using these when I feel overwhelmed with noise in the house. The case is also really handy and it's nice to know I'll always have a pair because I keep it clipped to my purse. For sleeping, they're even better! All the noises I've previously had to deal with at night are but a low mumble now. And as a side sleeper, these are the most comfortable earphones ever! If it wasn't for the cable attached, I wouldn't even know they were there. Half the time I don't even play anything - they're just in there blocking noise while I read or something. The only downside, which is to be expected, is that my ears get wax buildup a bit more. It hasn't become an issue, though. The tips are attached, so they can't be replaced for a different size, but I have small canals and haven't had an issue. I think they'd adjust to anyone's ears with how soft the silicone is. I have already recommended these and definitely would again!

Preferring wired earbuds for dealing with insomnia, these are easy to fall asleep with. Wired, comfortable earbuds are getting harder to find, so thank you
