Excellent quality and the most healthy pellets I have found
If you are concerned that your pet isn't eating these pellets it's mostly because they haven't gotten use to a real healthy pellet yet. My 3 boys turned up their noses for about a wheek after I switched them out from the snack food pet store garbage I was feeding them. Once they started eating them they empty the dish in a few days. There is also A LOT less white spots where they pee so these are much better for their urinary system. These pellets are a bit expensive but you get what you pay for and your pets health will pay for it if you are feeding them inferior junk food. Same as people I guess.

Healthy piggies!
I switched to Sherwood pellets when I rescued my previous old girl and needed solution for sludge and urinary issues. I found information about Sherwood Pet Health on Guinea Pig blogs and transitioned her to Sherwood pellets and used Sherwood's urinary support supplement with excellent results. Fed Sherwood to the 2 new rescue piggies from the start and was amazed at their transformation - shiny coats and great beans! Sherwood makes high quality products. Highly recommend - 5 out of 5 wheeks!

Great product… but my girls hate it
I love Sherwood products, but this one seems to be really polarizing with piggies. My usually picky boys love these, but it is the only food my girls have ever refused. It was a 5 month battle to get them to adapt, and they’ve won. I gave up and started to transition them back to Oxbow, and within moments they were both eating the Oxbow pellets, and spitting these back into the bowl. Overall, I recommend these if you piggie will eat them! Only thing is there’s no vitamin D added like oxbow does, so something to consider if your piggies don’t get much outdoor time. It can arrive a bit crushed, but you can always turn the dust into a paste for syringe feeding in a pinch.

Too crumbly and messy
The ingredients are nice but the product itself is too messy for my guinea pigs to eat. Half of the pellets are crushed in the bag and the rest crumble once in their bowl. Basically have to sweep up and toss quite a bit of the crumbly mess all over the bottom of their cage.

Great food if you give it time
I've had the food for a month or so now and my boys didn't like it at all when I first gave it to them. But I did the transition from old food to new food and they took to it but didn't like the new pellets very much. So I left it in the cage and let them eat it when they eventually gave in. My boys kept getting their fresh veggies everyday and I left the Sherwood pellets in their bowl until that bowl was empty. and sure enough I caught my boys eating from it today. Please give it time. Yes still give them their fresh veggies everyday but leave the pellets in the bowl because they will eventually get over the taste and eat it

Apparently Yummy!
My herd chomped these down like candy. They usually got Oxbow pellets so it's not like they weren't already getting quality stuff. But apparently the pure timothy was very noticeable. I do wish they were carried in stores nearby though as I'm not great about getting online to order before we run out.

My guinea pigs love this food
My pigs refused to eat other brands of timothy hay based pellets and initially refused this one too, but after leaving it in their cage for a while, they started to love it. Now they clear the bowl in a day and after a couple months of them eating it, I can literally feel their fur get softer. Anybody with guinea pigs should feed them this food, it’s amazing!

I absolutely love these pellets! I switched my piggies from Oxbow to Sherwood over the period of about a week, and have had no issues. I love that these pellets are soy free and they smell great! Their coats are shinier and they have great energy. One of my piggies is a senior, one is a chunker and the other has more than a handful of genetic health issues, and they all do well on these pellets. I definitely recommend giving these pellets a go.
