My friend and I are both visually impaired and we live far from each other. We keep in touch by making speaking onto cassette tapes and then passing them back and forth to each other. My friend needed a new cassette recorder, so I purchased this and had it sent to her. She reports that it is working out fairly well. She says the external mic jack does not fit the mic she had around the house, but that the internal mic works ok. She says the playback sound is a little weak, so she needs to turn the volume way up. All that being said, it appears that this cassette recorder will work for us to stay in touch.

I'm using this device to capture spoken word and musical ideas. It performs exactly as I expected. The device is not audiophile quality but it's perfect for the money. The included AC adaptor was an added bonus.

This is a very simple cassette player. It doesn't have much in the way of modern interfaces like MP3. But it's a cheap way to revisit the old cassettes from your youth 😁. The built in speaker is, understandably, pretty poor, but it sounds pretty good with headphones. Or you could use the headphone jack to connect to your bitchin' stereo 🤪

Pretty easy to use. Bought it for an elderly parent. It is simple to operate

My husband really likes his set recorder. He can listen to tapes from his childhood when his parents used to record all their trips. Thank you so much for this great product.
