So far So good Everything working well.
I just got this one today and so far I am very happy with it. It was a good buy for the price. It was very easy to hook up (although I am a bit of a techy so that is not hard for me). What I like the most is that is has a micro SD card which i like to use both for music and for listening to my teachers lectures in school. It is has all the basic functions. The DVD player works well. The Bluetooth connects well for listening to music from my phone, and bluetooth has more control options from the screen than stereos without the screen do, so it is easy to control the music from the screen instead of from the phone. What I really like about pyle car stereos is they seem to have the best reception of FM stations, better than most any other brand I have tried, and although this head unit can do so much more than fm, that is something I still use the most. When I tried my , thands free calling to call my voicemail I thought the mic level was low, but when i called my friends they all say they can hear my fine. On my cell phone i use either the regular service or google voice to make calls and i think the google voice is louder. If i end up with problems with voice level i will edit my review. I like that this unit has a built in fan in the back. I know some car stereos break with overheating, having a fan might help this one last. At the same time i think it makes sense every few years to disconnect and take it apart to clean out any dust. I also like that this unit does not have a detachable face. I think those tend to break more. So I think this is good quality for pyle but still I recommend the extended warranty for peace of mind and because the regular pyle warranty would make the buyer pay for shipping if something broke.

Could be better.
I wish it was a little better. It was cheap, and does the job. Things that could be better: - No nighttime mode, the only thing the ILL wire even does is turn on 3 blue LEDs to illuminate the eject, volume, and AMS buttons This may not seem like a big deal, but a normal daytime brightness is blinding at night. Fortunately there is a screen off/sleep button you can use at night, or you can do what I've succumbed to doing and pick a brightness that is almost to dim for daytime and almost too bright for nighttime and leave it. - The AMS button sucks and screws up all or your presets, and it shouldn't be a button. - The bass seems to suck, I have some decent polk audio 6.5" speakers and to get any bass on them I had to turn loudness on, bass all the way up and treble down two notches. Might just be me, maybe I need a amp. - I've noticed the clock runs fast, over the course of three weeks it gained 3 minutes, compared to my phone and the car's other clock. - Complaints from people on the other end of the line that the bluetooth phone quality is poor, hard to make out, no complaints with the same phone and a Ford sync system in another car. - only 25 logos in the radio, if your car is not one of those 25 you're SOL. That's everything I can think of right now.

A nice, value-priced, double-DIN receiver. Great replacement for stock systems.
Ok, so I post a lot of 5-star reviews, but that's because I review the product itself based on description and price. I get tired of bad reviews from people who: don't have the product and are commenting on cost, don't have the product and think something else is better, have expectations that inexpensive products will be the same as something much more expensive. I don't do that. I have realistic expectations. I rate things accordingly. So the Pyle PLDN63BT Double DIN Bluetooth 6.5-Inch Touch-Screen CD/DVD Player gets 5 stars. I buy a lot of Pyle stuff. I think they make solid, value-priced products. They are far more than adequate for most applications and they're quite durable. If you're putting together a high-end system for your car or already have a premium 1000-speaker factory system, you're probably going to pop for a high-end receiver. But if you have the stock receiver that came with your car and you just want something with Bluetooth for streaming audio and phone calls this thing will suit your needs quite well. It sounds terrific in my base model 2010 Nissan Frontier. PROS: * Sounds great * 4x80w output. Pretty good for a value-priced unit. * Pairs flawlessly with my Nexus 6p * Menus are easy to navigate * Easy install but 1/2 that credit goes to my truck. The dash is easy to take apart and the bracket on the stock system fit perfectly on the Pyle. CONS: * Some of the icons / graphics are a little cheesy. No loss of stars for that as it's to be expected. That's the long and short. Sounds great, price is right. This isn't a Pioneer Waveblast 9000 assembled by artisan stereo nerds - it's a $100 car stereo. If you find a high-end system for $100 it's probably stolen. Save yourself some jail time and buy the Pyle.

Good for the price
This radio is a great buy for the price It fit in my 2003 Ford F150 with some adjustments to the area it went in. It has a easy to use and see screen. Works as good as the more expensive radios. I have a Pyle backup camera which works great too that's why I bought this radio. I would recommend this for the DIY person. Get the wire harness for you automobile and the rest is fairly easy. I had to cut out the lower bracket in my truck which was easy using a hacksaw. The radio just slipped in after that, and looks great with no gaps on any side. I would recommend to connect your extras like anything you want to use with like XM radio or back up camera or what ever or you have to keep from taking it out like I did over and over.
