Some had mentions that the straight edge was not straight, that's about the only thing that was OK on my sample. First of all, the machining quality was very poor. Lots of sharp edges on the notches and the faces were nowhere near smooth enough. This would more than likely scratch the fingerboard of the guitar, especially those that have maple necks and are therefore varnished. However, that wasn't the main problem. The notches did not line up to more than the 7th fret making this an inaccurate and non-functional tool. The other metal item was no better machined. It's a shame really because for the want of a bit of extra care, this would have been a good purchase for the occasional user.

I bought this set for my dad, who wanted to handle the guitar setup work himself, and he’s been really happy with it. He says all the tools work exactly as described no faults, no surprises and they’ve been helpful for checking string height, fret level, and general setup. While this isn’t a premium set, it gets the job done well for the price. The straight edge worked fine for him, and he didn’t run into any issues with fit or alignment. Overall, it’s a solid value for beginners or anyone doing occasional fretwork and setups with complete accuracy as needed.

For the price, it seems great. Not sure if there may be issue with QA as some people claim to have received edge that is not straight, mine is perfectly straight (at least the notched edge) (tried placing it on a flat surface and using light torch) And people saying it doesn't fit on their necks and always hits a fret, It measures from the 2nd fret onwards. If you place it on the 1st fret, ofc it's not gonna fit and hit a fret..

The notched straight edge is not very straight. Better to buy from crimson guitars, more money but straight.

Does what it says on the pack for a really good price. Really well made too. Does not feel cheap or light in any way.
