Cheap parts on the rams mean the bucket doesn't stay in the air anymore. My mum and dad still have my old Siku toys from when I was little (so are nearly 40yrs old) and they are still going strong. This one last about a month before the bucket wouldn't stay up on its own anymore. Really disappointing as you expect these brands (had a similar experience with Britains too) to have real longevity but they just don't.

Metal, good siku quality but... the bucket drops down and the "hydraulics" are not strong enough so it can't load a trailer without two hands being used, one to hold the bucket up. Not an issue for a 2.5 year old but might annoy an older child. Annoying as otherwise excellent.
