I take these supplements everyday to help support my eye health. I work on a computer all day and Prior to using these supplements my eyes would ache feel strained by the end of my work day. This product seemed good for clearing the lens of the eye according to Dr. Mercola's website. I've researched bilberry, lutein and blueberry supplements for about a week prior to purchasing this product. Being a middle aged woman, I want to take care of my eyes before anything drastic happens. My parents also are taking this supplement as part of a natural regimen to clear cataracts. Now this product is dried but says it is an extract that is dried, which I wonder how absorbable it is compared to a liquid- however since starting this formula I notice two things, the smell- a bit strange & rubbery so I began emptying the contents into my morning smoothie which took care of that. Since I wear glasses which aren't always clear to look through, I started testing my vision without them- reading in bed I always had to have the book really close to my face when reading- now I can hold it at arms length and still read the print clearly. I also drive without glasses for short distances during the day and remove my glasses while working occasionally. Seems to help my eye muscles relax and stretch. So beyond me, my parents are doing well- they recently were seen by an optometrist who said they have advanced cataracts and what sounds like diabetic retinopathy in my fathers eyes. Being a family who does not like invasive therapies, we all decide on a natural approach before anything else- so they're taking this supplement as well. This with other home therapies is helping their vision clear up. They plan to continue this way for some time and get another eye exam to see if in fact there's a difference. Glad I found this supplement with the bilberry and blueberry concentrates combination. Great price for a two month supply, compared to health food store where I originally purchased it. It's always tricky attributing symptom improvement to any one supplement or lifestyle change, but now that I have used this supplement for more than a year, my night vision and tolerance of headlight glare while driving at night have noticeably improved. I intend to keep using it and recently subscribed to auto-delivery of this product through amazon.
