Had a backup camera but the cord was too short for my truck. Installer did not know you could buy an extension until I found this. Worked perfectly!

This dash cam extension cable has been exactly what I needed to mount my rear camera properly. The 16.5 foot length gives plenty of reach to run from the front dash cam unit all the way to the rear windshield, even in my SUV. The 2.5mm connectors fit my dash cam perfectly with a solid connection that hasn't come loose. The cable is well-made with good quality shielding - I haven't experienced any signal interference or video quality issues. Running the cable along the headliner and down the side panels was easy thanks to the cable's flexibility. The black color blends in nicely with my interior trim. I appreciate that it's specifically designed for dash cams rather than trying to use a generic extension. The connection is secure and the video feed from my rear camera is clear and stable. Great value for extending your dual dash cam setup without having to worry about compatibility issues or poor quality.

I needed this to connect a backup camera onto my trailer. I was expecting there to be a video quality loss due to the length of the wire. There was none, it works great. Now when I pull my trailer I just unplug my Pelsee rear mirror cam and plug this in. Easy. Be sure to check your connections as there are a couple of different types.

Made the mistake wasting 3 hours. Ran it through the car's wire loom because it's just a simple cable.. NOPE Cable has incredibly high resistance on every leg. I HIGHLY doubt this is pure copper cable it measures like it's aluminum which would explain why it doesn't work at this length.
