Just the right level of difficulty

Excellent !

The image used for this jigsaw was sustaining during the many hours of spent puzzling. There is no gloss or sheen and the image is pleasingly clear. It was my first 'Smart Cut' technology puzzle and so I did not know how it work on the board. I found it very different to traditional-cut puzzles and not all the differences were ones that I liked. I used a Portapuzzle zipped board as I have not the space to leave the puzzle out. The 'peach, fabric of this style of board gives a higher degree of friction than tradition puzzles. This meant that the inevitable shifting of islands of jigsaw was very difficult and would often ruckle-up. I learnt the trick of sliding a thin plastic sheet underneath the pieces to move them. The seeming thinness of the board used does not help and as there some 'touch' connections does not help. This puzzle would be best on a hard surface. All of this is meant to help others; I enjoyed the challenge of the puzzle very much, and have a further Eurographics puzzle waiting to be completed. The price of this puzzle and its availability was better than many others at the time of purchase - deep into Covid and staying-in at home.

This is fine if you want a different- albeit similar - design to the one featured. But as my attached photo shows, I received a picture foregrounding the bike, no dog, with European flags over the bookshop and a small child inside. Not suitable for the adult I was giving this to as a present. A real shame as Amazon should have the correct image on their website, but according to the supplier, they won't allow it. For me, it's a waste of money as we don't do jigsaws often. It was the particular design above that I really wanted!!!

Fun jigsaw to do and I like Eurographics different type of cut for its pieces. But frustratingly found pieces missing as I was completing it. As I found the pieces were in the frame as I complete this first I knew that I wouldn't fully complete this one.

even if I have been doing doing puzzles since I was a teenager it has been much more interesting (and a bit harder) than usual to complete this beautiful puzzle because of the different shapes of the pieces, a perfect training for the brain...

Box damaged and had packaging tape all over it - including the front image used to assemble the puzzle. Looks like a used garage sale puzzle. Returned it as soon as I received it. Very disappointing.

Fun to do

Très beau casse-tête. Les écritures et petites images de chaque livre aident à les assembler. Il n’y a pas de copie sur papier du casse tête dans la boîte.
