This is perfect for a digital recorder like the TASCAM DR-40 4-Track Portable Digital Recorder or zoom h4n so you can prop it up and not have it sitting on the table. It also makes it useful to use the onboard condensers and use it just like a mic if you need to. The only thing that could be better about this is to make the end where the screw is something other than plastic...the whole thing does feel pretty cheap. I understand its only a few bucks but I can easily see someone over tightening it and ripping the threads right out of the plastic.

When I first saw this thing pop up in my "recommended" feed I thought "why the heck would I need something like that?" It looked like it was just a plastic handle, until I realized that it allowed me to use my Zoom H4 essentially like a wireless microphone. It's been wonderful for video shoots, using my H4 like a boom mic without having to run a bunch of cables. Worth every penny!

I first received one of these with my H4n, then another with my H6. I think these are some of the most ingenious inventions as far as A/V accessories. Being able to "convert" a mic stand into a camera tripod is super useful, especially since most mic stands tend to have a smaller footprint than tripods. I love the design of these things, so simple and yet so effective. I'm surprised I've never seen another company make something like this, but even if they did I'd still probably buy the Zoom brand ones

It's smaller than I expected, but it fits my Zoom camera and does what it was purchased for.

With a simple mic stand and normal-sized mic clip, you can adjust your Zoom recorder, (or phone camera, or other recording device) to precisely the angle that you want it. It's inexpensive, lightweight, and highly portable. It's a must have for recording, especially video. I loaned my mic stand adapter to my dad, and after he used it to record a speaker, he said, "Thank you for the Father's day gift." He made it clear that I wasn't getting it back. :-)

A great accessory to have at your disposal. This handle allows you to put the Zoom in an optimal position for recording by mounting the Zoom on a mic stand. You can even use a spider mount on the mic stand to reduce vibration noise. The adapter also fits most camera, so you can use a mic stand as a camera "tripod."

I bought this to use with the Zoom Q2n-k video camera and liked the functionality it provided so much that I bought another one to go with my JVC video camera and use it with a mic stand now during recording church service so that I don't have to use a tripod.

Bought this to hold an Audyssey calibration microphone which came with my AVR using this and a boom mic stand works perfect
