Oxygen Brightening Powder Lbs, Unscented, 40 Ounce

I ordered this Savvy Green Oxygen Brightening Powder on a whim & I am so glad I did. Not only does this powder brighten whites and light color laundry items safely, I have found many other uses in my home for cleaning/whitening with this gentle, powerful powder. I add a scoop of Savvy with a little natural liquid laundry detergent to scrub my toilet bowl. I scrub well with a brush, let it soak then scrub a second time. I have great spring water supplying my home, but it gets a little red clay silt sediment in the water on occasion which over time leaves nasty reddish stains & deposits. Before, I had to scrub with pumice like crazy to make it nice & white. This Savvy powder cleans better with the liquid natural laundry detergent with almost zero scrub work; far superior to anything I've ever tried. And much SAFER for my Septic tank. Those same deposits stain my shower stall floor & Savy powder removes every bit. I have even used it on my grout lines of my marble tile bathroom floor, just adding water to make a thin watery paste. If you place Savvy on the grout & let it soak, you don't have to scrub it. Just wipe it away after soaking & the grout looks brand new. It does the work for you. I wonder if the company who makes Savvy is aware just how may uses this wonderful, gently powder has? It works far better than that "Oxey" brand, has no scent, and is never harsh on my hands. And yes, works great on in the laundry, too!

I've been buying this for years. My child has chemical allergies so we have to be careful what we use in the house, especially when something is going to be touching her skin as much as detergent in clothes. This works so well to keep stains or smells away.

I freaking love this stuff! From the first moment I used it, it not only brightened my clothing, towels, and sheets, but it got rid of any lingering odors and stains. It's especially great to use in loads of underwear and other underthings--because I have an older front-loading washer which isn't quite as efficient as it once was, some items would take two loads to get fully clean. Not any longer! The best thing is this powder is clean-rinsing. I've used other powders, especially in those little pillow packs, which would leave streaks of white on my clothes, something I often didn't detect until after they'd already run through the dryer--talk about frustrating! Since using this powder, I haven't run into an issue yet of white streaks or residue once, and I wash in cold water which can often make it difficult for these types of powders to fully dissolve... obviously. Plus, there's no caustic or chemical odor associated with this powder as there was with certain brands I've used in the past (*cough*Oxy-Clean*cough*). Highly recommended!

This works very nicely. I really noticed it when I washed our old bedspread. I have a light weight bedspread that I love, and it's about 5 or 6 years old, and between my husband and I and our two pets, a cat and a small dog, it was looking it's age and a bit dingy even after washing. I thought I'd try this given what it promises and was delighted with how my old bedspread came out looking bright and white and no longer dingy. It looked like new again! I think my husbands t-shirts needed a few washings but they too now are looking whiter and cleaner. Good stuff.

Clothing smells fresh (and unscented)....so far, no problems with my sensitive skin.

I've heard good things about oxygen bleach for cleaning, I bought this oxygen bleach powder one since it's supposedly more natural and concentrated than Oxiclean. While I can't compare it's effectiveness to Oxiclean since I've never tried it, I can honestly say it cleans very well. I use this for laundry, mostly for towels and bedding and everything comes out looking and smelling fresh. I have reusable face cleansing pads, before I started using this powder they were left with makeup stains after washing, after adding this when washing them they no longer have stains. I also mix this with a small amount of dish soap and hot water to clean my tub and shower, it leaves it sparkling clean. Lately I've been noticing the shower knob in my apartment tub looking grimy and yellow, I unscrewed it and soaked it in vinegar initially to get rid of the mold and mildew. It got rid of most of the grime but the yellow remained, so I tried soaking it in the oxygen bleach powder and hot water, and it came out looking perfectly clear and clean. One thing to note, this really only works in hot water as it doesn't dissolve much in cold or warm water in my experience. Also I didn't do my research beforehand and used it to clean some metal stuff which rusted pretty badly so lesson learned.

Whitens and brightens! I soak items in hot water in my laundry sink to remove stains or yellow spots! Great product! I will buy again!

Works as expected

works well on whites and dark colors. I use it to clean my tea and coffee stains off of stainless steel and ceramics, even works to remove some of the water stains on my flower vases. Seems multi purpose product and safer.

I could not notice a difference in the cleanliness of the clothes being washed, which is really disappointing considering the price for such a small bag! I would not recommend and will not purchase again.

Brightens and kills mold on porous items when activated. I've read that the steam can help kill mold on non-porous surfaces in washers.

Miracle product it's just incredible product on the white clothes.
