I tried heating this with a heat gun and I didn't have any luck so I boiled it. I put on latex gloves and after 10 seconds I pulled it out and shoved it on. The water helped it slide on. Now it's nice and snug. The color doesn't match right but it's a tool. I put boots like this on all of my Ingersoll rand impacts.

Works as intended!

As stated before, this cover is very tight. I tried warming it with hot water so it would stretch, also tried dish soap to lubricate so it will slip over the ratchet. No joy. It won’t fit. I use the ratchet without protection. The Ingersol Rand air ratchet is great. No complaints about that. The boot is too small.

Fits well but the hole for the lubricant point is in the wrong place. Its on the front and not the back. I cut a small hole to access it. Not a big deal but I'd expect IR to properly ship a boot of this nature with access points placed accurately.

Good fit. Heavy vinyl cover. I used a heat gun to warm it up and it pulled right over for a snug fit. Hole for grease fitting was in proper location.
