no more IBM for me
Box broken open and some parts missing, Called IBM support trying to buy drive trays that were missing and after 2 hours and multipal handoffs they found out I purchased it from Amazon and hung up. That was the deciding factor to send it back. UPS new driver threw it out 1/4 mile from my house leaned up against my mailbox, one end torn open so I didn't have a chance to inspect it. (ups has been notified) dont look for anything to come of it. Missing parts was what I needed to buy when I was hung up on. I sent the unit back with what was left in the box and looks like there will be a $359.78 restock fee. The item might have been great if I had been able to purchase the missing items, I needed the unit so I was going to do that but after the IBM people figured it was purchased from Amazon that was the end of the conversation (they hung up) I didn't see anything about a restock fee when reading the return policy but I could have missed it but after the experiance I had with IBM thats the last time I will purchase anything with that name on it. I will take the $359.78 loss but I will know who to do businedd with in the future.

Make sure of what’s really sent
Unfortunately the drives were not correct. Sent back. New drives were not correct. Returned and had a 350$ restocking fee.

Extremely happy with Lenovo Value.
Excellent and flexible server. Lenovo is a powerhouse in making high value equipment without it feeling “cheap”. if you need a small office server this is a great model.

Slow cheap hard drives
Server itself is decent, power supply is undersized but what can you expect for that price. If you want to configure a RAID 5 with the the supplied hard drives ... DON'T. They are slow and cheap hard drives ... no business being in a server.
