Q: Are these knives made in the USA?

I would guess no. They were so cheaply made I returned them

Q: Has anyone put the knives in their dishwasher? Do they get rust spots or rusty?

I do not put mine in the dishwasher. The last nice set of nice knives that I had I did put in the dishwasher and they rusted. So, I thought I would take better care of these. I've had these for 6 months and no rust with handwashing.

Q: Can I buy the scissors individually? Mine broke.

I think the handles are made of a heavy duty, top quality plastic, or plastic like material. Very nice quality, and I’m glad I bought them.
