Works well but needs careful use
I tried Copper Power in a quarantine tank for my saltwater fish after an ich outbreak. Within a few days the spots started clearing, and after two weeks the fish were healthy again. It’s less harsh than some other copper treatments, and my fish kept eating normally. That said, this product requires daily copper testing to stay in the safe therapeutic range. It’s also not reef-safe, so only use it in fish-only or QT setups. Overall, a reliable treatment if you’re willing to monitor closely.

Great medication
Instructions are super clear and easy to use. Product worked extremely well for me as I had a purple tang with velvet and it cleared him up after 15 days of sitting in medicated water. Would definitely use for future use

This works much better than Cupramine
Cupramine is what I first used for treatment of salt water fish. And it sadly is very harsh on every fish it treats. If not being very careful it will kill fish. And even then if you are dealing with flame angelfish or puffers odds are they will not survive it. However this formula of copper treatment is clearly much less harmful on the fish. Does not suppress their appetite to nearly the same degree, can be fully dosed day 1 and is much less likely to kill a fish if the copper level in the water ends up higher than your target. This rather uncommon product should be in every store that sells salt water fish. I could not recommend it highly enough. I think those who are still using Cupramine have never tried this product. Bottom line is buy this or if out of stock buy coppersafe. Do not buy cupramine.

The Only Copper You Should Use - Superior to Cupramine & Copper Safe
There are two main coppers available for usage in aquariums - Ionic & Chealted Copper. Ionic copper is what you find with Seachem Cupramine. It has a lower therapeutic range and is harder on fish. Chealted Copper has a larger effective range and safer to use on more sensitive fish like saltwater wrasses. After dealing with Fritz's unreliable Copper Safe medication, I switched over to Copper Power. Fritz's Copper Safe has an unreliable consistently with their copper so you don't know how potent the medication is until you start dosing and testing it. It lead to me overdosing my tank. Copper Power has the most consistent concentration of all the Chealted copper products on the market. I've never had issues ramping up the concentration or maintaining therapeutic ranges. It's regularly NOT available in stores and I'm not sure why. It is far superior to Seachem Cupramine and easier to use. I would highly recommend that you purchase a reliable test kit like a Hanna Checker Copper Test kit. Please note: The instructions on the bottle are incorrect. Effective range of Chealted copper is 1.5 - 2.0 PPM. 2.5 PPM would put you in an overdose situation. Always make sure you ramp up with Copper Power and use a quarantine tank as Copper is not safe for inverts.
