Who writes about pizza flour?
I guess I do! I didn't think there was a difference in "bread" flour, but based on many tries with many different flours and recipes for pizza on the grill this pizza flour really does make the best pizza dough. It was easy to mix, pliable, rose very nicely, and most of all, baked very well. I can't really believe I'm buying special flour to make pizza on the grill, but I am, and will continue to do so!

Antimo Caputo 00 flour
Caputo 00 flour is everything they say it is. I have used this flour from pizza dough to making Julekake and Stollen. This flour is as advertised the best flour in the world. I even made gravy with it for Thanksgiving, it was as smooth as silk.

Makes Great Pizza Crust
00 flour makes great pizza crust that is both chewy and tender at the same time. I bake the pizzas in my home oven using the convection roasting setting at 550 which produces the leopard spots on the crust bottom.

I have now used this flour for pasta and bread and I must say the difference is amazing. Now today I made pizza dough and it was superb. I have been a dabbler in cooking from scratch in the past, but now I am serious about this. I have 5 grandchildren and we love to cook together. In the past a lot of my recipe attempts failed because I was so busy that I did not pay much attention to the recipe. I will keep ordering this flour and keep learning how to cook with it. If you love to cook superb meals try this flour and you will not be sorry. I ordered 10 bags right from the begging because of the reviews and have not been sorry.

Wonderful!
I've used this flour for pizza dough and it is excellent! My next step is to use it for pasta dough. It is high quality and the dough has such a smooth feel and is so easy to,work with. This is now my go to flour for pizza!

Excellent for making pasta!
This is great 00 flour for making pasta, and yes- you can tell the difference in your home made pasta between this and regular flour off the store shelf. The price was better than I could find anywhere else online, and unfortunately the only retailer selling it wanted twice per pound what this cost. Delivery was quick too!

I think it is okay
I think it is okay. If you are in America, just stick with bread flour or all purpose. If you have 00 in your local store, try it out, it is okay. It makes a good thin crust pizza. You will need a really hot oven to go with it. I like "all purpose" better. You may be better off with a "special" yeast as well. I use Red Star and it just doesn't rise like I expect. I don't need ten bags of any flour when I order anyway. Try it, maybe you will like it better than me. It is much better than whole wheat flour for pizza. 00 does okay. All purpose is better for pizza.
