Works well
Nice masking fluid. Can do fine detail which is what I wanted it for. After years of messing about with various applicators to get fine lines and small details and messing up brushes on the way finally something that works well.

Great little pen
Great little masking pen, the fine nib allows for detailed and smaller masking (less suited to large areas therefore). The blue colour helps you to see where you've been and it rubs away easily. Only thing is I'm not sure if it lifts a bit of paper if you go over an area more than once. After I've rubbed it away there seems to be a little bit of rough paper, but it could be down to the type of rubber or paper I use? No loss of flow yet and no blockages.

Game changer :)
One of the best masking devices on the market. Easy to use and very precise

Nib doesn’t last very long
This has a nib like a felt tip pen, but you have to push down on it to get the fluid flowing. This quickly ruins the nib and means you can’t get a neat line and the fluid stops flowing nicely. Needs a more robust solution for this!

It works very well. I'm delighted with it.

Great little tool!
I love this pen. You have to press down quite hard on the nib (on a separate piece of paper!) to start the flow of fluid each time you use it, which might explain a few reviews claiming it was faulty - eg just shaking it doesn't work. If you do it right you can easily see the liquid seep down into the nib. Once it's flowing you can use it exactly like a pen to create lines. It shows up pale blue and faintly shiny, so you can easily see where you've added it. I've worked over it with a black ink pen and with watercolour (which included drenching the paper) and it stayed in place. Once everything is dry I use a pencil eraser to remove it and it comes off easily. I've only had it about a week and used it over 3 or 4 days so I don't know how long it will last, but there's no sign of it clogging or drying up yet. Brilliantly, I've just realised that you can easily slide the nib out to clean it, to prevent clogging and drying. Really pleased!

The tip on this pen isn't as fine as if you were using a detail brush to place masking fluid on paper, but it's pretty darn close if your careful. If I hold the pen straight up and down and don't use much pressure, I can make some tiny marks and create fairly fine lines. I love how easy and mess-free this is to use. I love that I'll have no more accidental blobs of masking fluid on my paper or ruined brushes. When it's first applied the masking fluid looks so light that it's hard to believe it won't rub off when painting or that it'll sufficiently mask the area, but it works great! I'll still pull out my masking fluid bottle if I need to create super fine details or if I need to cover a large area, but for everything else, I'm completely sold on using this pen instead. So much less hassle!
