I've been taking this for a few years now as part of my depression management strategy. When I first started taking it, and the bottle would run out sometimes I would go a week or so without refilling...I noticed I felt lower after a few days of not taking it. After making this mistake a few times, now I'm very vigilant to not run out. Studies show that high EPA and low DHA, approx a 10:1 ratio, can be as effective as some commonly prescribed antidepressants (NHS). Most easy-to-find fish oils do not have this ratio, but Country Life Omega Mood does and it's less expensive than all the others with high EPA low DHA. For me personally, this made a bigger difference than Zoloft, which I weaned slowly off with my doctor's knowledge. I'm into an all natural lifestyle but I'm totally aware that antidepressants are widely varied and the right one can help, after much trial and error. But alas, I live in the US and don't have health insurance, so visiting my doctor is rare and trying to find the right antidepressant Rx is too expensive for me. I also use exercise, a light therapy box, healthy eating, limiting news and social media, and Biotech D3-50 50000iu Vitamin D, and Sam-E higher dose, as part of my depression mgmt strategy. My depression is worse in darker seasons but is persistent year round. Please don't take this as your medical advice, this is just my experience and my opinions, and please consult your doctor.

I started taking these about 10 years ago (when I was 50) I had just quit smoking and decided to take better care of myself. I learned of the importance of Omega 3 and because I have anxiety, my sister suggested Omega 3 Mood. I started taking 2 gel caps in the morning, 2 in the afternoon and 2 at bedtime. After being on them for a few months, I had to go to the dentist. He was training students, so one student went by the book and had me list what meds I was on and checked my blood pressure. He couldn't believe how perfect my pressure was, so he tested me again. He then had another student come in and test me. Again, the student said he couldn't believe how perfect my BP was! They called in a third student.....getting the same results. Then, they called in the dentist to test me. The dentist tested me and said it was unbelievably perfect. He asked me if I exercise and I said, "Yes......I exercise my right to sit on my a$$" (lol) The dentist looked at my chart again and said, "Are these all the meds you're taking?" And I said, "Well......those are the prescriptions I'm taking, but I didn't think Omega 3 Mood was necessary to list. So.......I can only attribute the perfect bp to Omega 3 Mood. I have slacked off over the past few years and when I ran out.....I didn't buy more. I just recently decided it's time hubby and I get back to it. (I am by no way saying you should take 6 per day......I'm just telling you that I was taking 6 per day. I'm now only taking 2 in the morning, mainly because of economics)

I don't know how they do it, but I do not get the fish taste burps after taking these pills! That is a big advantage over the other brands I have tried.

This is a fantastic product. I have been using these for almost 10 years! The quality of the brand is excellent. I always feel like I am in a better mood and not stressed as much from day to day activities. I take these omega 3s every morning and they work throughout the day. I don't get any of the fish burps which is great. If I do a day without taking these, I get irritable so I know this product works. I would like to say the seller where I bought these from, Brands Hub, is an excellent seller. Always willing to check in on your satisfaction wherever necessary. I will continue to buy this product for years to come!

I love this product. It literally saved my life years ago. I was very depressed, I had no joy or hope for the future. Within a week of taking this product, I began to feel much better. I had to take it every day for about a year (that's how depressed I was). I would try to stop using it for a short time and the depression would seep back in. So, I would start using it again and I was fine. My belief is that my body was so deficient that it required me to keep using it. After about a year, I completely stopped using it, I didn't want to bother going to the store. I just forgot about it after a few days and life was good. Years passed and the old feelings of depression showed up again. I didn't wait, I rushed to the store. Took all of a couple of days and I felt better again! I now just use it on a daily basis & get it on Amazon. No signs of depression at all....life is great even during the pandemic.

No fish oil burping. Most of all, this is the exact ratio of DHA:EPA my psychiatrist recommended for best help against depression. And it does provide that extra mood boost, which was confirmed for me when I had to go 8 days without it when on a trip. Plus has all heart & health advantages of taking an Omega3.
