Good little tank. You need to use a 19/64 drill bit to drill a hole for the fuel nozzle. Nice that it can be installed where needed on the tank.

Used this to replace the rusted tank on a generator I picked up free on the side of the road.

The outlet fitting is just dropped in the container. You have to drill the hole to put it in on whatever end you want to put it. To put the fitting in the hole you drilled take a piece of stiff wire about 18" fish it through the lid hole and through the drilled hole. Place the fitting on the wire with one O-ring and bend an 'L' in the wire and pull the fitting through the hole. Place the other O-ring and nut on the outside. Tighten the nut while holding it with a pair of plyers.

Took a little to receive but overall good product.

Don’t waste your time with this plastic tank. It’s advertised as seamless but it is not. Tanks will seams all leak fuel over time. Did not come with fuel hose & clamp also.

I restore classic cars and some of the ones I buy have been sitting for decades or longer. These little fuel tanks are perfect for temporary installation so I can disconnect and remove the factory fuel tank and lines (which are normally filled with decades old gummy, turpentine-like fuel). They make a nice temporary fuel "system" to fire up the engines and evaluate. You have to drill the hole and install the fitting yourself which is not a big deal. The gasket for the outlet fitting could be a bit better and the tank could be a little heavier / thicker in the areas that you install the fitting, so I took off one star, but overall you can't beat these for the price.

Replaced the tank that was shipped broken on my silvel diesel heater. I made sure to drill the smallest hole possible and drill the hold as close as I could towards the center of the jug to provide a more stable and thick edge to support the fuel line that would bend the edge a little bit. So far it’s working just fine. Pictures show the old tank and I then the new one.
