Il kit di montaggio è esattamente quello che cercavo (quello meno recente) in quanto contiene anche il kit delle luci che se acquistato separatamente costa parecchio. Per quanto riguarda la qualità, non c'è nulla da aggiungere. Qualità Tamiya.

This is my first Tamiya RC model in 30 years. I had one as a kid, and wanted to recreate the experience as adult. Now, that's exactly what i got. the kit is massive, the assembly was fun. Having said that, at $230, I was not ready for the additional cost of ESC, lights, batteries, remotes, paint colors, and "hop ups". If you plan to drive this thing other than 3 times around the backyard, you will need to replace quite a few components in my opinion: The wheels, tires, probably the shocks; just the tamiya paint for a 2 color model ran me over $70 alone, oh boy. There is no end to the cost of this model. Then to the design: It has huge flaws: - There are no inner fenders, so your newly painted, beautiful model will be covered in dirt on the first run. - The steering is completely flawed, wobbly and lose, and difficult to fix. This thing will not drive straight on a lawn. - The suspension, the main feature of this chassis, as it comes, is tired, sagging and weak. The shocks are weak. - The tires - useless, unless indoors on level ground. Cross Country? Not really.... - The model overall is too light, which makes it ride bouncy and hardly have grip - As always with Tamiya, no wheel bearings included (extra $25) I ended up spending WAY more than on a Traxxas G500 ($500), which is a way superior model in terms of driving capabilities, size and features. It's a tough recommendation..... I would order a different tamiya model for the tamiya experience, or reconsider the traxxas or similar, if I had to make the choice knowing what I know now. Some tips for assembly: Lock both the differentials and put it in low range gear. I build mine with open diffs in the front, and it cannot climb the simplest things. For offroad, you want both diffs locked.

Wichtiger Hinweis: zusätzlich Kugellagersatz kaufen Das Modell hat eigentlich eine super Qualität. Alles ist durchdacht und sehr passgenau. Allerdings werden überall Kunststoff-Gleitlager verwendet und die sitzen an manchen Stellen zu straff. Wenn dadurch ein Differenzial schwergängig wird - wie in meinem Fall - wird der Austausch der Lager in richtige Kugellager sehr aufwändig, weil sehr viel wieder auseinander gebaut werden muss (mehrere Stunden…). Deshalb die dringende Empfehlung, einen der hier auf Amazon angebotenen Kugellager-Sätze für das Modell gleich mit zu bestellen und von Anfang an alles mit richtigen Kugellagern aufzubauen. Die geringen Mehrkosten fallen nicht ins Gewicht und man bekommt keine Zwangspause, weil man die Kugellager erst noch bestellen muss.
